Hey, I am going to start another thread because I think some of these ideas we are discussing need to be flushed out. However, they dont really have much to do with "The Man of Lawlessness." Feel free to post on this thread again if you want to discuss more the 2 Thess 2 passage. The new thread I will make is Covenant Relationships and the Bible as Literature.

I'll try to look in and join the discussion, but let me offer a final comment on our discussion here. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on whether or not the judgment of Israel was because of their past sins. Jesus himself condemned the scribes and Pharisees saying that the blood of all the prophets their fathers had slain would be required of that generation.
