Well, two things you missed, and will continue to ignore.
One.. is that all the people who were saved in the NT, in the "ACT's of the Apostles", following Chapter 2, were all saved first, born again, and then water baptism followed.
NOT ONE was saved in the water, or born again when they were being baptized in water.

Two.. Paul said....."Christ sent me not to water baptize"... and Paul wrote 73% of the NT.

My advice to all heretics is to stop living in Hebrews and Matthew and James, and read the other 71% of the NT that Paul wrote, so that you can stop being a heretic.

Paul says this regarding the act of baptism...

Colossians 2:11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, [12] having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? [2] By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? [3] Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? [4] We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Book of Luke says in 24:47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'

Acts 22:16 agrees with Acts 2:38...

Acts 22:16 And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Paul says this...
Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

And let's not forget these...

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And, since this is relevant, Here is copy and paste from the OP...

The Holy Ghost may be Before "OR" After baptism, but the Birth must still be complete...

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

HOLY GHOST AFTER BAPTISM
Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Acts 8:16 "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the NAME of the Lord Jesus)."
Acts 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

HOLY GHOST BEFORE BAPTISM
Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Acts 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

You're Autistic, is that what you said?
So, what im going to do with you, is allow for this situation, as you dont open a New Testament and actually try to see for yourself.
You just insult.
So, in your case, that's a little something different.B

As you have never been in my home, how do you know what I do or not do open? That sort of comment is arrogance personified. FYI, the New Testament is permanently open beside my computer so that I can refer to it on a constant basis. Sorry to disappoint you.

Who are you to call anyone "carnal"? You said in Post#227...

After Paul arrived, Peter no longer preached Act 2:38. (After Acts 10).

OK let's examine your statement.

Remember the Lord said...

Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
[47] And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
[49] And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

The question was asked to Peter AND Paul, in regard to salvation, What shall we DO?

Let's see how Peter replied...

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Paul responded to that same question, let's take a look as the scene unfolds...

Acts 16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
[28] But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
[29] Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

[30] And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
[31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
[32] And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
[33] And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

We find that Paul preached unto them "Jesus" and, in preaching, water baptism was preached. Now let's find out WHAT Paul had meant when he preached water baptism...

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
[2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
[3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
[4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
[6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Now let us recall what Peter had said...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter and Paul both preached that water baptism is for the remission of sin, and this is being buried with him by baptism into death.

God Bless!

it is quite common for people who are 78 years old to have health issues. I cannot for the life of me work out what that has to do with posting on this forum.

By the way, I already have one God, so I don't need another one telling me what to do.

And where did I say I was putting you on ignore? If you are unable to provide evidence I suggest you apologize.

Paul said....."Christ sent me not to water baptize"... and Paul wrote 73% of the NT.

Let's take a look at the scripture...

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

For your information, Paul in fact DID Baptize and he preached baptism (read Romans 6:3-6 sometime and you might actually learn something about that). Paul is simply saying, baptism it is not his main business. Baptism was not his principal employment, though be had a commission in common with others to administer the ordinance, and occasionally did it. The same thing was true of the Saviour, that he did not personally baptize...

John 4:2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

You are quick to call people "heretics" while yourself should have a look in the mirror.

God Bless!

I can water baptized you, but God didn't send me to do it.
Its just something that im qualified to do, same as Paul.
THat is why he is trying to explain to the people like you who have faith in water, that He was not Sent to worry about Water.
He was sent to PREACH the CROSS and "Christ Crucified".

Now let me teach you about Romans 6.
It says "baptized INTO Christ".

"Into CHRIST"
"into CHRIST"

So, is Christ water? IS CHRIST WATER ??????
If Christ is Water then you are Lucifer.
Stop being ridiculous.

Let go of the cult mindset and join the born again and realize that being BORN >INTO CHRIST<.......is not talking about being Tank-dunked into the city water system.
Got that?

Being born again, is a SPIRITUAL Birth and being baptized =INTO CHRIST< is a Spiritual Baptism.....its not water. Its SPIRIT.
Getting your FLESH WET with WATER can not save your SOUL.
Wake up.

We are baptized into Christ through his death(water burial)...

Paul said regarding Romans 6...
[4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Are you yet without understanding? Jesus said...

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John the Baptist preached baptism for the remission of sins, pointing to the time when God would remit sins at water baptism.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Perhaps you should stop rejecting the counsel of God...

Luke 7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
[29] And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
[30] But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

And go and obey God's salvation plan...

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

God Bless!

We are baptized into Christ through his death!

God is A Spirit.
Being born again is a SPIRITUAL Existence that begins when God brings life to our dead Spirit, and puts it into eternal union with His Holy Spirit.
None of this is accomplished by the city water supply.
Stop being a deceived Catholic, (or similar) and become a Bible Believer who is no longer walking in the darkness.
"water baptism" can't save a duck.
Did you notice the born again Thief on the Cross, hanging next to Jesus, was not water baptized.
THINK.
Sometimes you just have to stop being a sheep and start to think for yourself.

Let me show you what Jesus clearly said...

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water "and" of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

But according to YOU, it reads...

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of Spirit "and" of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

You can deny the truth all you wish, but remember...

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Romans 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death:..."

Mark 1:4 "John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins."

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 6
3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

It's funny you gave NOT ONE SINGLE SCRIPTURE - except for "thus saith Behold."

Oh by the way, Everyone prior to the birth of the New Testament church entered into the Kingdom through Old Testament dispensation, including the thief on the cross.

God Bless!
