[all-too-common scenario?]:
"...lady lost faith...she/her church/other churches prayed for her sick husband...
...he got worse...pastor encouraged her "keep faith - he WILL be healed"..." [but]
"...he died..."
[But, The Scriptures Do SAY!]:
[So, now what? 'BIBLE believing pastor/elders' start making excuses?]:
"...The pastor had to try to explain this failure, and told her that it must be
that she did not have enough faith, or maybe there was some secret sin
in her life, or maybe her husband wasn’t really a Christian.
Obviously something was wrong. She had no explanation. She had tried her
best to believe, she knew of no secret sin, and she always thought that her
husband was a real Christian.
She came to the conclusion that the Bible must not be true, that there really is
no God and that all that she once believed was not true. At least it didn’t work
when she needed it....
...there are many Christians who are quietly, in their own hearts, troubled
about unanswered prayers....
[Do they need excuses?, OR: prayerfully/Carefully seek And find 'God's Answer'?]:

done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, Be removed
and be cast into the sea, it will be done. And whatever things you ask
in prayer, believing, you will receive’ ” (Matt. 21:21-22)...
“If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you will ask what you
desire, and it shall be done for you” (John_15:7).
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church,
and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in The Name of the
Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and The Lord will raise
him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven”
(James_5:14,15)..."
