Too many folks are being married to a god that leads us by emotions rather than the GOD who leads us by HIS WORD and SPIRIT .

You laugh at people broken down on the side of the road, while I have offered to help.Mysticism 101: Language is an obstacle to communication, like a vehicle is an obstacle to transportation.![]()
Not a laughing matter. You've offered help like those who admired the Emperor's New Clothes. You laugh at people broken down on the side of the road, while I have offered to help.
I don't need your quotes anymore, because I already know your teaching by heart. You are still violating your own accusations of not quoting, by summarizing what you think others believe
and lumping it into one accusation against me.
Hebrews 10:9I don't need your quotes anymore, because I already know your teaching by heart.
And since you do not correct any of my summaries, then they are accurate.
And here we have it. You call an accurate summary of your OSAS teaching, an accusation against you.
How can your own teaching accuse you?
Because, when stripped of finery, your teaching does accuse you:
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him.
This is the apostles denouncing any gospel, that preaches being saved forever in heaven, while still sinning bodily on earth.
Specially them that say the resurrection is past, and have already recieved our immortal bodies in heaven, while our mortal bodies remain alive and kicking with the devil on earth.
Good Scripture.Hebrews 10:9
Hebrews 10:9Good Scripture.
Speaking of animal sacrifices, it occurs to me that the OT by law of Moses is done away, but not everything before Christ coming was by law of Moses.
Animal sacrifices to the Lord began with Abel, and was accepted by the Lord, even as they will be accepted on His altar in His Millennium.
Only the manner of animal sacrifices under the law of Moses, are therefore done away with the Old Covenant. Therefore, it includes bringing them to an altar and temple ministered by an ordained priesthood, which was not the case with Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Today, the Lord would reject men ordaining a priesthood to receive such sacrifices of the people, upon an altar in a temple made with hands of men.
The theorized Christian/Jewish building of a temple with priests to receive blood sacrifices, would be cursed, even as another gospel of a false christ, who preaches it.
The animal sacrifices once again accepted by the Lord, will have nothing to do with a revived law of Moses, no more than keeping the feast of tabernacles.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Before the law of Moses, blood offerings were made with thanksgiving and prayer to the Lord, but only with the law were they offered for sin.
But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
Sacrifices for sin will be introduced again under the King's rule over all nations, not by law of Moses but by prophesied charge of the King.
When we read what's written, with desire to understand it, then we at least have an answer you can agree or disagree with.Hebrews 10:9
Who is "He" and what did He take away?
You know, those questions you agreed to answer?
Hebrews 10:9When we read what's written, with desire to understand it, then we at least have an answer you can agree or disagree with.
You don't do that.
I know. It's not possible when you don't even do singly.Hebrews 10:9
I don't do duplicity.
Hebrews 10:9I know. It's not possible when you don't even do singly.
I was going to see if you would now answer my question, but I don't care anymore.
If you insist. There is no naturally created thing, that is ever perfect. There will still be dead trees falling in woods on the new earth.
Pretty sure atheist understand eternity is outside of creation, even if they reject it out of hand. Confusing people on how your semantics is not relative can also be dismissed out of hand.nobody wants to talk about that tho lol
you dont think a scribe translating a word that means "a space of time, an age" into what we know as forever, "eternity," is relative?Pretty sure atheist understand eternity is outside of creation, even if they reject it out of hand. Confusing people on how your semantics is not relative can also be dismissed out of hand.
Why pick the word that is a bad translation? What about "forever" and "ever lasting" or "neverending?"you dont think a scribe translating a word that means "a space of time, an age" into what we know as forever, "eternity," is relative?
that is the point, yesWhy pick the word that is a bad translation? What about "forever" and "ever lasting" or "neverending?"
So what if they're all just poor attempts?
Why see everything through the lens of created terms, why not through the Creator's terms?
In any other context that would be a logical and solid argument. But in the proper context, where the rule is not use of language, but spiritual discernment of admitted parables stated in "likeness", one must rather [spiritually] read between the lines. Of course wackos do the same thing, only not spiritually. Thus the confusion and false doctrines.that is the point, yes
they are not poor attempts, Scott; they had a word for ""forever" and "ever lasting" or "neverending," and they chose to xlate "aion" that way anyway, so they are lies, not poor attempts, sorry
hey, bam go with that if you likeIn any other context that would be a logical and solid argument. But in the proper context, where the rule is not use of language, but spiritual discernment of admitted parables stated in "likeness", one must rather [spiritually] read between the lines.
