And MY religion says that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ - and that those who receive unworthily are guilty of sinning against the Body and Blood of Christ (1 Cor. 11:29).

    NONE of this is "worship".
The Rosary is a petition for Mary to pray FOR us.

YOUR problem is that you're gullible because you don't do your homework.
Mary Anne Collins is wrong. She isn't automatically "right" simply because she was a nun - any more than YOU are right about any of the things YOU make on this forum . . .

Something perhaps similar to the use of the word, "gay", today compared to when I was a child. "Gay" simply meant happy and carefree. Persons with homosexual leanings were called "queers". The language is changing. Should we go back to the way it was before? If we did that there would be no English language at all for it certainly did not exist as a language of men at the time any of the scriptures were first written. Jesus as a man never spoke English.

    So what is incorrect?

Why haven't you offered me a cup? Mine is empty! Nothing religious about it. There is simply nothing (speak not of air) in the cup.

    I don't worship a biscuit - I worship Christ.

And you wonder why you aren't allowed to receive the Eucharist . . .

well, except a habit anyway :)

so I dunno, but really these seem to be our choices?
"scrupulous or strict observance of the traditional cultus "

Webster's Collegiate Dictionary traces the word back to an old Latin word religio meaning "taboo, restraint.". A deeper study discovers the word comes from the two words re and ligare. Re is a prefix meaning "return," and ligare means "to bind;" in other words, "return to bondage."

and the second is doubtful I guess

No - YOUR calling it a "biscuit" is the problem with having a complete lack of faith . . .

well, I guess the term has newer defs now that might be preferred, but I can say that "he does that religiously" did not become a cliché all by itself. And the descent from ligare seems pretty forced. But any accepted definition seems hard to fit with Jesus, Who I guess even gave us an anti-definition, "take care of widows and orphans" right

Why would God destroy something He setup, He would not. God setup religion in the OT to Isreal and in the NT to His Church. The biggest problem is the same od one man wants his way so will not follow God's setup Religion even though they think they do.

He wont, He never set up any man made religions, for Him to do so would make Him and Christ disagree.

Mat 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
    Mat 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

devil loves a crowd , far easier to keep them in a prison than to chase after those who have being set free.
