No. One must accept Christ to have eternal life.

So then, for all of your word study by "the wisdom of men", you conclude:
"A big problem above is the elements are associated with heaven, Earth is introduced after that. The elements are heaven related."

NO, it is not saying that at all.

It does say that. Go back and read it.

My view is that the two witnesses were John (6 mos.) and Jesus (3 yrs. Mortal, and then +3.5 more yrs. by His Spirit, working with the early church).
As someone else wrote above, John the Baptist and Christ Jesus could not be the two witnesses, since they were not slain together at the same time as we see happening to the two witnesses. In addition, neither Jesus nor John the Baptist were refused burial, and neither were their bodies together left to rot in the street of Jerusalem. Jesus and John the Baptist are not a match for the sixth trumpet judgment.

No! They could not ever ascend to God's Presence. They were not believers in Christ, and they never did convert to Christ, and be baptized by water and the Holy Spirit.
Neither you nor I can state the converted salvation status of any individual before their death...even that of the former high priests Ananas ben Annas and Joshua ben Gamaliel. I know this much. No one can be bodily raised from the dead if they are not part of God's family. God does not grant eternal life of the body to the wicked dead. The destiny of the wicked dead is to perish, both body and soul in the judgment. Theirs is a "resurrection to destruction". Isaiah 26:14 wrote of the wicked dead, stating, "they are dead; they shall NOT LIVE; they are deceased; they shall NOT RISE..."

My argument is because Christ Himself has not Visibly returned in all His Glory, we are still in the present Age of God's Grace through faith in Jesus.
Your argument that Christ did not visibly return back in AD 70 does not hold water, since you were not present as a first-century eye-witness at that time to deny this. If Christ promised that He would return in the glory of His Father with the holy angels to give rewards to all according to their works while some of those He was speaking to in Matthew 16:27-28 were still alive to see that, I believe Christ did exactly what He promised to do back then. And salvation has ALWAYS been granted to the "children of faith" by God's grace in every age.

I do not see the number "666" having any reference, except in 1 Kings 10:14, of which had to do with 666 talents of gold
This is an idea I have seen proposed before by others. The problem is that John told his readers to "calculate the number of the beast", which involves a mathematical calculation to be done to arrive at the six-hundred-sixty-six amount. The 666 talents of gold that Solomon had sent to him every year did not involve a mathematical calculation being done in that text.

You have not noticed the two legs of iron down to the feet of iron and clay, in the statue of Nebuchadnezzar"s dream. Those Two legs of iron with 2 feet and 10 iron toes mixed with clay is where in it's division the Roman Empire ended up to be, being that of Europe and the Roman Catholic church. Together they exist as being part iron mixed with miry clay.
Of course I have noticed the two legs of iron. These two iron legs each represented the ancient Roman Republic and the ancient Roman empire which developed out of that Roman Republic. But I notice something that you have not. Daniel 12:7 tells us that by the time ALL those Daniel prophecies would be accomplished, "the power of the holy people" would be shattered. This shattering the power of the holy people happened long ago back in AD 70.

I fully agree that M,BTG is Israel of today, since 1948. It is the land beast (the USA) "that carrieth her"
These are both impossible interpretations according to Revelation's context. Mystery Babylon / Jerusalem was guilty of the slain blood of the holy apostles and prophets of God (Rev. 18:20 & 24), as Christ had already said back in Matthew 23:37. Today's Israel has not done this. The Land Beast also cannot possibly be the USA, since the Land Beast of Rev. 13 was a CONTEMPORARY with the Sea Beast, and was operating in the eyesight (enopion) of the ancient Roman Sea Beast and exercising the power of the ancient Sea Beast under its direct oversight.

No. M,BTG is still in the future, and not too far off either. She is going to be burned by the fire of the 10 horns, which I believe will be of the European Union.
Rev. 17:16, 18:8
This is also impossible. Mystery Babylon was going to be burned with fire by the Scarlet Beast of Rev. 17. That Scarlet Beast was "about to rise out of the abyss...and go into destruction" soon after in John's own days. That means Mystery Babylon would ALSO have to be burned with fire by the Scarlet Beast's ten horns BEFORE that Scarlet Beast and its 10 horns were destroyed soon after in John's own first-century days. You are missing the timing for these events that Revelation spells out for us.

I think that the topic is well covered by @TribulationSigns in post #71, that the Rich man and Lazarus is a parable, of which is a semi-ficticious story meant to deliver a singular truth.
No parable whatsoever is seen in Revelation Chapter 11:3-19, the (Two Witnesses) will have literal bodies on this earth that will die, their bodies will lay dead in a literal Jerusalem street for 3.5 literal days, a literal world will exchange literal gifts in celebration of their deaths (Future/Literal)

Revelation 11:3-19KJV
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Rev ch11 is a soon coming reality

ABSOLUTELY = as Prophesied in Genesis

ABSOLUTELY = as Prophesied

Here is another Mystery = as Prophesied

CHRIST is Coming Again = Revelation chapter 11 preceeds His 2nd Coming

Now do you see that the Two Witnesses, as JESUS Said: "MUST come first"?

Will do - thank you
You are "wilfully ignoring" the fact that just prior to Jesus' transfiguration, he told the disciples that they would see ANGELS!!

And so now, most of church-ianty foolishly believes what the 3 disciples THOUGHT they saw, and totally disbelieve and disregard what Jesus said: "HEREAFTER ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God...."

Nope! Most of church-ianty is blowing false smoke concerning anything about Elijah, Moses, Enoch or anyone else that they can fabricate to DESCEND from paradise [all who are asleep in Jesus] BEFORE the Day of the Lord's Glorious return in flaming fire, and the bodily resurrection of we who are alive and waiting. KJV 2 Thes. 1:7-10.

The living will not be resurrected because they are alive. The dead are resurrected as immortals and the living will be changed into immortals then raptured/moved to be with the others.

It does say that. Go back and read it.
I don't listen to the guess work of "philosophers", nor do I agree with the interpretation of the Greek by "Gill".
For the "elements" in 2 Peter 3:10, I reference "Strongs" only:

Strong's Number - G4747
Element
: Greek: στοιχεῖον
Transliteration: stoicheion
Pronunciation: stoy-khi'-on
Definition: Neuter of a presumed derivative of the base of G4748; something orderly in arrangement that is (by implication) a serial (basal fundamental 6
initial) constituent (literally) proposition (figuratively): - element, principle, rudiment.
KJV Usage: element
(4x), rudiment (2x), principle (1x).
Occurs: 7
In verses: 7

You have never heard of The Periodic Table of the Elements (of the earth) in Chemistry?

"Changed", as into new Immortal bodies, which is exactly what will happen to Born again Christians who have died, but are now asleep in Jesus, aka paradise.

When Jesus returns in all His Immortal Glory, they will rise from their sleep in paradise (not the grave), and shall come with Him and God's Holy Angels in the clouds. Which is exactly where we will meet Him and ALL them. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Hallelujah!!

1 Thes. 4
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

So now we are calling the resurrection of all the Saints, a "Rapture" and NOT the resurrection??

Like the Pharisees, all literalists live in a man made "word salad".

The timing of the resurrection/rapture event will be at any time between today and the day that the Antichrist commits the transgression of desolation sit-in-the temple act declaring himself to be God.

That act triggers the beginning of the Day of the Lord and God's wrath.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11, we are not appointed to wrath, but salvation in Christ.

Use the combined term - the resurrection/rapture.

A Christian's soul goes to heaven, when they die. In 1 Thessalonians 4:14, Jesus will come from heaven and bring those souls with him.

Use the combined term - the resurrection/rapture.
If we should combine anything to describe the events on the Lord's day (2 Thes. 1:7-10) for His saints, who are alive and remain, it would be this:
1. When the Lord suddenly appears from Heaven, we who are alive and Born again, are changed into immortality in the twinkling of an eye.
2. We meet the Lord and the saints in the air, that were asleep in Jesus, and so all together, shall we ever be with the Lord.

Ummm....yes that is what I said in 139. However, though those people literally died in their mortal flesh, they are forever alive by God's Holy Spirit within them, and had been asleep in Jesus, until He awoke them from their sleep to be with Him, to gather us who remain and are alive, unto Himself. And so then shall we all ever be with the Lord.
I agree!!
