In satanic culture there are two levels of knowledge . The esoteric or "inner circle" and the common herd such as you and I, the goyim. Only that select few insiders know how deep and far reaching is the power they wield and the depth of deception used to disguise that power. But what they like to do is boast among themselves of their own influence. Symbolism is the prime me dium used in this practice. Of you want to discover the the connections between Catholicism and the occult world, just observe the symbols that are common to both. There are plenty of them, and they are hidden in plain sight.
A cursory perusal through mister Google will yield plenty of examples.

i recall doing this a while back and dont recall it amounting to a big shift in my understanding at the passage, although it might now? I think "spared" might not be the best term? For azbatani? At least there? "Spared" in the sense of "overlooked, relinquished" maybe, but not really "spared" the way we define it? As if it were a good thing?

I think the argument might be that OT they felt that "God sparing" them was a bad thing, then, in the sense of they are now "spare," so to speak, if that makes any sense? "I have been made spare" iow maybe

ya, nice farouk, so a counter-spared there even, Jesus saying "why have you spared Me?" and God not "sparing" His own Son, a play on the word "spare" that is just harder for us to see bc no one uses the word "spare" in the archaic sense any more, maybe. "You are spared" once had, or also could have, the sense of being "sidelined," imo

wadr imo a...pageant is being put on, ok, a play, with actors and lines and everything, and Jesus had two roles to play, right, and we are easily convinced that a Son of Man died 2000 years ago bc God needed a Sacrifice to cover our sins, and that that Son of Man died for our sins, when i can assure you from the depths of my heart that God did not need a Sacrifice to make you acceptable to Him at all see, who told you that you were naked? wasnt Me see. You just went and got some knowledge, didnt ya, you ate from that tree huh? So now you know? Right? We're sick of this miracle food, give us some meat which "quail" is just how its xlated to us, the root is a roadsign there btw, another big, flashing neon sign lol. May as well plainly print "if you think Jesus is returning to take you up to your imagination of heaven or literally bring your imagination of heaven here to earth tomorrow, when you reckon your "eternal afterlife" will then begin, then you are gonna be forsaken, spared, sidelined, overlooked, discounted, put on the shelf, tossed on the pile

the Son of Man must be raised up like a snake on a pole, in order to draw all men to Himself
bc all men feel naked, right, and fear, and naturally assume God needs a sacrifice to "justify" them bc thats what they would do, but see God is like "who told you that you were naked?" the whole time see

So, we get a skin, then we need a sacrifice bc the skin, then we maybe lose the skin and we dont need the snake on a pole any more, tell a four year old Jesus died for their sins and see what their reaction is? They have no idea what youre even talkn about, see, may as well be tryna teach them time in numbers i guess lol.

So ppl define Christianity diff, but if our Christianity relies on a Son of Man being sacrificed to God for our sins, then the words are all right enough but we arent hearing them the way they need to be heard i guess, we are "waiting here for the present" i guess

I have a reprint of the original from the 1940's. Can't be more precise since it is in storage.

In Babylon Mystery Religion Ralph Woodrow was merely regurgitating what Hislop had researched, without doing any original source research.
"This book is a detailed Biblical and historical account of how, when, why and where ancient paganism was mixed with Christianity. From the early days of Babylon and the legends surrounding Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz, certain rites and rituals are traced in their various developments, thus providing clues whereby the "mystery" is solved! The apostles had predicted there would a "falling away" and the proof of their prediction is now evident in history. With such evidence in hand, all true believers should seek, as never before, the simplicity found in Christ himself and to earnestly contend for that original faith which was once delivered unto the saints."

But then here is what happened: "Ralph found things in Alexander Hislop's book, The Two Babylons, with which he disagreed and and decided to throw out the baby with the bath water. It really is heartbreaking to see a man take such a strong Biblical stand, warning Christians of apostasy, only to fall into apostasy himself."
Babylon Mystery Religion - Ralph Woodrow

So now the Catholics claim that Woodrow corrected Hislop and that Hislop wrote "manure"! They simply refuse to admit that Roman Catholicism is paganized Christianity when even historian Philip Schaff confirmed it.

Then please – correctRalph Woodrow on this. What exactly did he “throw out with the bath water”??
    Be SPECIFIC . . .

Do you honestly believe that Woodrow was so immature that he simply rejected actual truth just to his displeasure with Hislop??

The fact is that, as a rabid anti-Catholic - it angers you that an intellectual like Woodrow does NOT agree with your hatred of the Catholic Church . . .

Well, I was attempting to avoid inciting a big argument with Catholics, since I knew it was only a matter of time before someone like BreadOfLife read this thread, and here we are. So I think I'll stay out of that one. I'm kind of past discussing the various problems that exist in Catholic theology anyway... for whatever reason. Maybe it's just old news to me, and I don't see doing so leading anywhere, since Catholics are normally very staunch on standing behind their doctrines in light of the magisterium and their traditions.

But thanks for the quote on Ralph Woodrow. I actually own that as well. As I recall, it was a much lighter version of the same basic argument, but with more photographs and drawings.

I do not "hate" the Catholic Church. Exposing false Christianity is the duty of all Christians, just like exposing so-called evangelicals (wolves in sheep's clothing).

The RCC has been deceiving its adherents for centuries, and I feel sorry for the Catholics, who are generally upstanding and moral citizens, but thoroughly deceived (particularly in certain parts of the world).

But since you claim to be a Christian, you too should be outraged at the way the Vatican and the clerical hierarchy of the Catholic Church have accepted all kinds of pagan beliefs and incorporated them into just about everything. Check out the Rosary for starters. And that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Why should I allow lies and fairy tales from anti-Catholics like YOU to make me “outraged” at the Church??
None of your asinine charges have an ounce of truth . . .

In John the spare is physical, so Jesus saying spare, imo, is very close to why dost thou tarry.. let me die.

@BreadOfLife My question in post #1 was how does one reconcile this. If I could take out any and all references to RCC and just leave The Ancient Babylonian religion(s), the pagan influence in Christianity is hard for me to swallow.
Unfortunately, you would see so much of RCC, you would be offended. For that I apologize.

ya, i'm vaguely recalling that angle too, i forget the point there tho. If you stated it i'm sure other Scripture might be considered in that context, and go from there imo?

Relying on Google to bring you the truth in theological matters is about as insane and stupid as it gets.
Anybody can Google any bogus information they want - and there is PLENTY out there . . .

Elijah was running for his own life which was threatened by Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab, because he had killed her 400 prophets. Part of it is seen in these two verses:

"And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?
And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away." I Kings 19:9-10

Wasnt informationi was referring to. I have the information...I was referring to Google for the images. The symbols. Occult symbolism is all over Catholicism like a baggy cost.
