Have you come to see, the heaviest weight of scripture is; the "in Christ" message. Particular to the Apostle Paul. A good place to start in looking at the Pauline epistles is to mark all the statements Paul gives pertaining to the position of being in Christ. Now what happens with those that do not accept that is; they defend their stance by saying "well that person wasn't in Christ." Very weak argument to say the least but necessary to mention. And most make the argument because they do not see the new birth. Remember starting right to get where you need to be will absolutely come into play at this point. That is really early on in the argument. So best explanation given is.. that is a sad stance in a defence of a weak argument. So moving on.
The next weight of scripture you can come to is; union. Scripture is heavy on our oneness, and that by a birth. Your union in mind will depend on your mind... simply, you must see it.
Remember starting right, if you have not had the understanding of being born again fixed in you by the Holy Spirit, you are lost at this point of putting scripture together.. particular to the Pauline epistles. You will at this point spend your time in 66 books of the bible trying to put together, what happened to you the moment you believed. Scripture says it is a perverted gospel. (Gal. 1:6-8)
Can a believer be lost? yes - but only in mind. What does that mean. It means they have no idea what God did in them the moment they believed, and in turn do not know what He is doing now. Lost as the world.. pertaining to the thing's of God. That dear friend is a hard place to be in.
You cannot have Christ in you, and not expect your Father to want something to come out of that! Based on the weight of all scripture, particular to the Apostle Paul.
