The Wilderness is a place only known to a few that follow prophesy of the Bible. We are told clearly to read what Daniel the Prophet wrote about the Abomination of Desolation that will kick off the Great Tribulation. Will you be raptured? Not according to the Bible. Jesus warned you to flee into the Wilderness where you will be safe for the time of the Great Tribulation that is to come.

Those who push the idea of Rev.12 fleeing into the wilderness as literal, that's who's lying, plain and simple. It's because that fleeing into wilderness idea of Rev.12 is for spiritual protection against the 'waters as a flood' that comes out of the dragon's mouth, which of course is a metaphor for words that come out of the dragon's mouth.

tell me when Israel left Egypt did the Lord have Moses lead them in a literal wilderness or a physical wilderness?

So who's your Moses for your literal physical fleeing into the wilderness idea during the coming tribulation? Is that one also your Jesus? Won't be mine, nor for any of those in Christ Jesus, because if you'll remember, Christ Jesus does not return to gather His saints until AFTER that tribulation. So who's the one that's going to lead you into and through the wilderness physically, because it cannot be Christ Jesus, unless of course you're really preaching a Pre-trib secret rapture with that fleeing into the wilderness idea as being a physical fleeing. And even that idea would be false also.

No, the waters AS A flood that comes out of the dragon's mouth is a metaphor for those blasphemies and great flaming words of deception that dragon will do, which will cause the majority of the world to fall away to worship him in place of God, just as written there. That's the war against Christ's saints to, lies of deception to trick into bowing to that dragon in place of Christ. Later in that same Rev.13 chapter we're even shown that dragon appearing with two horns like a lamb, but speaks as the dragon. It's about his disguise. And with that false working he will do miracles and great signs, raining fire down from heaven in the sight of men. That's what the war for the tribulation time will be about, deception through lies.

Look up the history of what the Pharisees taught and believed. Apostle Paul had to deal with Pharisee converts to Christ who were trying to twist God's Word among the Gentile believers about God's Salvation, showing they weren't really sincere in their conversion. Acts 15 is one example. Paul called them "false brethren".

That's not about Messianic Jews though, not unless some of those still adhere to tenets of Judaism (Phariseeism). Messianic Jews are Jews who believe on Christ Jesus, yet some of them still have a hard time with calling themselves Christians.

SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT?

Flee into the mountains, not the desert (wilderness). And that's is ONLY for those of His servants in Judea for the tribulation in that area. That's my point. The fleeing into the wilderness (desert) idea of Rev.12 is a different subject, it's about fleeing deception, which is what comes out of the dragon's mouth (waters as a flood).

So, you think waters as a flood are going to flow in the desert (wilderness) during the tribulation too? That's what some here on that doctrine have said also, which is false too. Scripture from Isaiah was used to try and show that, when the desert blooming as rose idea from Isaiah is an event that will only occur AFTER the tribulation AFTER Christ's future return. It's linked with Christ's Milennium Temple of Ezekiel 40-48 which is AFTER the battles of Armageddon and Hamongog. Those waters in the desert is about God's River of the Waters of Life after Christ's return.

Indeed God's Israel through Christ Jesus has always been His Church.

The name Israel is the new name God gave to Jacob to represent His Plan of Salvation through Christ Jesus. It's connected with God's Promise to Abraham involving Salvation by Faith (see Galatians 3). In John 8 Christ Jesus said that Abraham saw His day, and was glad. Apostle Paul said The Gospel was preached to Abraham, and that all who have believed as Abraham have become the children of Abraham. The Promise by Faith was always first, even 430 years before the giving of the law through Moses.
