No, MY point (I wrote the OP) is NOT "don't idolize tradition".

Clearly, you do not have any Earthly or Heavenly idea what idolatry is.

don't tell others what they ought to care about or commit their minds to studying. Who are you to do that?

Appeal to Strawman & Ad Hominem. Pointing out the proper basis of analysis encourages studying.

If you want to delve into the evolution of concepts - like tradition - over time and across cultures, great. Not sure how it ties into Biblical principles. Don’t blame me for your esoteric forays that could go in directions you did not intend.

why does it have to be one or the other? a theology discussion doesn't have to be a debate, and this isn't the debate segment of the web site. that is some where else.
