This will be my next book. He saw the writing on the wall, we see it too. Why do others fall for the obvious lies being spouted?? Trust no man especially the very rich politicians, who are supposed to be our peers, not those who have zero clue what it means to be poor or middleclass. Wow we have given up so much and will continue in this vein I fear. Nobody rises to power and willingly relinquishes it, He is near. And He will expose the lies and the deceit coming from politicians and the so called powers that be. I think we are not at all far from martial law too...start some more riots, tell the regular Joe that they will be safe as can be with the big guns coming in. He's doing that to keep them from just bringing over cheap labor, but still getting what they can't find here. He's stopped more wars than any other president we've had. Even Russia/Ukraine is getting close to a stop with his 20 point way of stopping it.

Yes, God gave the people a man whom they would receive as king -

`Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, "Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now make for us a king to judge us like all the nations."

But the thing displeased Samuel when the said, "Give us a king to judge us. So Samuel prayed to the LORD. And the LORD said to Samuel, "Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

So the people did choose to have a king, however, God chose Saul. And because Israel was His chosen people to reveal Him to the other nations, God `legally` directed and taught them.

As to other nations, eg. Babylon, with Nebuchadnezzar as king, we are not told that God appointed him. We are told that God gave the king a `kingdom, power, strength and glory.` (Dan. 2: 37) This we know from God`s word is the beginning of the Gentile rule over the nations of the world.

God appoints positions of authority however, how the ruler rules - righteously or unrighteously will be judged. (Dan. 5: 26 - 31)
