I support fully so much of the policy decisions President Trump has made and put into effect. I voted for him in 2016 and 2020 and also supported his Presidential run with money. His narcissism in the past I attributed to a sense of humor that was geared to tweak and arouse the anger of leftists and RINOs. Now I am seeing his narcissism has become solidly how he truly thinks. This is dangerous for his belief that he can never be wrong has gone to extreme. The following statements in that video are repulsive to me as a believer in Jesus the Christ, Jesus the Messiah sent to save his people:

“And on June 14, 1946, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, ‘I need a caretaker,’ so God gave us Trump.”

The Trump video includes repeated religious references and quotations from the Bible. A narrator describes Trump as one who “follow(s) the path and remain(s) strong in faith.”

Trump, "strong in the faith"???? The only faith Trump evidences is faith in himself, not faith in God or the American people. I do not like making a political commercial or whatever they call it, of a human being being described in like manner as when God the Father sent God the Son to earth to save his people. That seems blasphemous to my thinking.

In 2016 and 2020 I passed Trump off as our modern day Cyrus, not a child of God by faith in Christ, but he was used by God to make certain policy decisions to give opening for Christians to live and breathe freely under our government. His Roe Vs Wade view on appointing the 3 Supreme Court Justices was his greatest achievement; and, he did seem to try to stop the flow of illegals into the USA, with intense opposition by Leftists and de facto Communists in this country.

While Governor DeSantis is not great on a debate stage, nor is he an imposing presence; in Florida he did excellent work, and kept his finger on most things happening in the State. Governor DeSantis is fully conservative and effective in an executive position like Governor and President. I'll vote for DeSantis in the primary and hopefully in Nov. 2024; but I'm concerned Trump will win the nomination even with all the personal baggage he'll have. I'll end up either voting 3rd Party or not vote in the Presidential choice part of the ballot. There are two sayings I've considered: "Don't vote for the lesser of two evils for it is still evil"; or "Don't reject the good for an insistence on the perfect." I may not have the exact wording, but that is the substance.

In the past I could view Trump as our Cyrus, today I must reject him for his increased narcissism which has become extreme and no longer humorous. We can have good Christian and conservative values in Gov. Ron DeSantis without so much underlying wickedness. He has proven himself as an efficient executive in the State of Florida.
Remember Jesus will return at the last Trump.

Why are you so threatened by Sabbath keepers?

The correct question is... WHY are sabbath keepers claiming observing Saturday sabbath is "truth" from the New testament... which it's clearly not? This claim is a misrepresentation of what the New Testament teaches.

The burden of proof is upon the SDA peoples since they are the ones claiming those not observing Saturday sabbath are in error and not following God's will and then they claim it's commanded in the New Testament and clearly it is not!

advocate for God’s gift of a Saturday Sabbath

There is no such gift under the New Covenant now that God's people become New Creatures IN Christ... notice the IN Christ part... this makes the way they observed the sabbath under the old covenant obsolete because a far superior rest has been established by the Lord which is abiding IN Christ 24/7/365

Well, that's where we disagree, right? I presented not one NT verse but 2 that supports keeping the Sabbath.

FWIW, this thread is not even about the Sabbath. Go Trump!

You mean your personal translation of those two verses supports keeping the Sabbath, right?

How about, "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in regard to food or drink or in respect to festival, or a new moon or a Sabbath day—things which are a mere shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ." (Col. 2:16-17).

Clearly, the Sabbath is “a mere shadow”—that is, fleeting by nature. And “shadow” (Greek, skian) is the same word used by the inspired author of the letter to the Hebrews for the animal sacrifices of the Old Covenant—also no longer binding on Christians.

Nope.

If you want to deny NT verses support the Sabbath, that’s on you.
It's not about denying verses. It's about the meaning/interpretation of verses. Scripture needs to be considered within the context of ALL of Scripture, not interpreted by one's desired outcome, out of context of the whole.

There was a study done recently, by some psychologists. They asked some women to volunteer for a study where they wanted to see if people interviewing women with facial scars treated them differently than normal women. The women agreed. So, an expert came in and put artificial, realistic-looking scars on their faces, and let the women look at them. The women were then brought, one at a time, to the interview, and right before they went in, the makeup artist said they wanted to touch up the scar one last time. Well, they took the scar completely off, without telling the women. The women went in and interviewed. When they were done, they were asked by those doing the study if they noticed that they were treated any differently than women who didn't have scars. Without exception, every one of them reported that they were treated differently and discriminated against!

The human mind can mold itself to its expectations, without us noticing. If you read Scripture with a particular expectation that it will say something you want or expect it to, it will seem like it does. That doesn't mean it's the meaning intended by the author, though.

A funny that you deny verses that support only to put forth verse, in your personal interpretation, don’t support the Sabbath.

A mere shadow is still a thing that exists.

Funnier still is you invoking a verse that reinforces the ongoing importance of the Sabbath - to discredit the Sabbath.

Clearly, the Sabbath exists and belongs to Christ. This notion is at odds with your claim that is does not exist in Christ.

Finally, ever read this chapter in context? If your relationship with God and others is based in law - OT or NT - you are not embracing the Spirit of Christs love.

Not being condemned for not observing the Sabbath is NOT a command to not keep the Sabbath. This is a point I already made numerous times.

Not sure why you cannot get loving this gift from God.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear or confused you. Self-interpretation of Scripture is what St. Peter warned against in 2 Peter 1:20-21. By what authority, other than yourself, do you claim to interpret the verses you provided?

Appeal to Majority. Where do you get off, presuming your doctrine is right by default but I have the burden to show authority other than my own interpretation AS IF I don’t have eyes to see and cannot read for myself?

You are so fundamentally wrong! The verses you cite are about prophecy.

Not sure who - besides one’s own conscience - is or ought to be the arbiter of reality and truth on such matters.

You project totalitarianism. Where the Spirit of the lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Do you know that verse?

Okay. A little homework for you. What does Scripture refer to as the "pillar and foundation of truth"? I would start there. Also, a good understanding of what authority is and is not, and how it works.

President Trump is not perfect and like everyone else is flawed but he is what we need in the White House now.

We need to get rid of the ones (democrats/liberals) who want to destroy America and hand us over to China.

voting for anyone else in the race would be a huge mistake. we are on the verge of WW3 and it may happen before the election.

You forgot, and he smells bad! But that might be leaning too far towards being judgmental and us Christians don't want to do that, right? So maybe not...

Trump is dangerous

to the woke, racist, socialist, government who will not stand up for what its people want. but can be bought and paid for.

to our enemies, who would not be doing what they are doing if he was in office (Hamas, Russia and China, and others)

They must keep him out, because he can not be bought and paid for.

so instead we have a president who is destroying this country.. Because trump is so dangerous

CNN was not out there telling ones to riot, CNN was not there when he sexually abuse E. Jean Carroll, neither where they there when he insulted a percentage of USA citizens at various times. What does Biden have to do with his terrible behavior?, there is no spiritual morality in the left or right, but don't allow political bias to blind you.

I am a Centrist, I voted under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and since I will never NOT vote, I will vote NOT for tRump

Name one president who has had no sin..

How about when BLM and Antofa did riot. and nothing happened to them. should they be charged and sent to jail?

So you would vote for a president who is taking this country down because you hate trump?

Trump and his team are already pursuing those on his enemies list. He is not yet President again and yet he has started attacking those even in his own party. When Richard Nixon was found to have an enemies list, it was one of the actions that brought him down. Check this operation by the Trump Team already:
They all do it, JFK had the mafia (and the CIA) do his dirty work, but they came back on him. Obama had his friends in the 'agency' bug the offices of the opposition and bring up all kinds of accusation that Russia was usurping the elections, its become the norm...

Voting for these MEN is a hit, miss and pray thing, but when they openly act like male cow feces, like tRump, I'm not voting for that. No president has been perfect, however no president has been like 45

45 is the best president we have had since Reagan as far as this nation goes.. (inspite of all the bad stuff he brought with him)

And if you think the president we have now is good.. You need to stop listening to the woke media who refuse to tell you the truth.

The last president race. i voted for the less of two evils. Sadly the worst one won

The libs brought all these things up against trump. Slowly but surely each one is being debunked..

However. the president we have now is guilty of far worse things that trump was brought up.. Yet people would still rather have him.

I call these people hypocrites.
