I think if Canadians unite in opposition to their country becoming America's 51st state,or a Canadian individual speaks to that objection seemingly on behalf of all Canadians, then the best thing for them to do is unite and foster in that opposition to Americas rescue a resolve to make their Government do better than what has warranted their national decline so that their northern neighbor thinks to rescue them from what their complacency has wrought.
In other words,rather than rail against rescue by America get off your arses and save yourselves! Aye?
I have taken note of all the Socialist Leaders of Australia that they are playing the people for fools ! seen as heros by idiots !
They are not about building on true foundations, for the future ! but on deceptions and delusions ! leading the fools astray into a fantasy land !
I know very welthy people as well fall for all such nonsense, why do wealthy fall for it all, well they never had to work for anything themselves in fact, everything just came to them, so they live in a fantasy land ! they can be nice people but boy see the world with rose coloured glasses.
I have a mate with more than 2 million dollars cash, but he is a Communist ! He likes to live as a one who is totaly broke. does not own a car or a house, 63yo still lives with mummy, could not handle a woman or children ? for that's a comitment ! worked for the Government only ! He could never work for himself, that would be a reality ! and such seen as a grave threat ! my brother has a Communist mate who is just the same type of cunning coward.
So yes i see they are very demanding, in wanting themselves to be served and will take anyone for what they can, if they can ! it's all about themselves truly ! not to mention i know a far right wing idiot Builder well who is much the same sort of parasite, he does not do the work himself but full on intent undermines people who works for him ?
I know of religious people who are all talk, but truly just a husk ! they have no virtue in fact !
I look for Virtue and found non in my Communist mate and that Builder mate in fact ! Like were is his virtue ?
So as for a leadership ? one without Virtue is all hot air ! they can not abide in Christ Jesus in fact ! because they are only a husk sadly for they are all about mans works in fact ! and Jesus pointed out that such was full of deceptions and delusions ! so they are truly loosers regardless, for they do not have Life in abundance. for they can not see.
They have not eyes to see or ears to hear ! that is not Leadership at all.

Like some one has parked their car outside of their house so they are going to do X, Y and Z ! crap like that ! and i am like well i get ripped off everyday, maybe the whole day destroyed, costing me a huge deal, nothing i can do about it. just cop it sweet ! Canada is not going to become another State of the USA !

Looks like you haven't read all of my posts. Some of you folks are making judgments about Canada based on ignorance and with blinders on. Our situation is EXACTLY the same as you have going on in America. Spiritually and politically. So pot/kettle.
And just like your Republicans just did, the Conservatives here are poised to win this next election soon to come in a landslide (even bigger than yours was). Many people began to wake up out of their stupor beginning with the trucker protest we had here and because this government has tanked the economy. The poll numbers are absolutely disastrous for the Liberals.....lowest levels ever seen, and this woke ideologically-driven Prime Minister is hugely unpopular now and hated by many, and he has been forced to announce his resignation as soon as his party elects another leader, which I think they have until the end of March to do so, if I'm not mistaken. At that time we are anticipating a vote of non-confidence with the current government and an election will be called. But the Liberals are not going to win no matter who is leader, most people here are so angry and fed up with that whole party.
With the Conservatives in power and their leader who is smart and practical minded, and has a backbone from what I can tell, I believe America will have a negotiating partner and ally who is awake to the various dangers that are facing our two nations and wants the same things you want.

What you posted above should really read "Canada's Liberal Party Crackdown on Religious Freedom"......expect the Conservatives will be fixing that ASAP just like your Republicans under Trump will be fixing a lot of the damage that the Dems inflicted under Biden.

Because I’m not sure what your ‘we’ orientation is, let me summarize. Colonial powers of Europe were ascendant during this era. Starting with Spain, led by Columbus and the Conquistadors, mainly in south and central America’s, French in Canada and England in the North American East coast.
Pawns in these European powers were the European settlers in their colonies and the indigenous peoples, aka Indians. Some Indians nations fought with the French against the English and other Indian nations fought with the English against the French.
This 7 year world wide conflict was a proximate cause for England to raise taxes on their colonies because the colonists were the primary beneficiary of the conflict. This led to the American War of Independence a dozen or so years later.
That Greenland part of the USA, if it happens, will benefit Greenland far more as Canadians don't EVER want to join the US, and the way I see it Canadian pride gets in the way, when really, they have little to be proud about. I think it's more likely for Greenland to join the US than Canada. Seeing most are Inuit, it is not too likely unless they actually experience personal greed (as in more money and higher standard of living) over staying independent, poor and backward and undeveloped. Some of their concerns are they are Inuit, and they don't want to lose their 'Inuit-ness', their cultural identity.
One of the interests of USA is exploiting Greenland's resources, oil, gas, minerals, and indigenous peoples often don't want that to happen.

Capitalism lifted many out of poverty, while the other side plunged them into poverty and death to a much greater sense of hopelessness
The US prosperity was not built on anything other than profit and hard work. Profit motive is why people work. But if your a socialist then you want others to work to support you. Who then is lazy and greedy? Can add in malcontent. All socialists in a cpaitlist country are unhaapy and want to tear down the system to create their idea of a socialist utopia. But history has shown all such things turn into a dystopian collapse.
If your a socialist you will end up working hard for nothing, as all you do is support the party leaders above you
