On the contrary, the author of The Art of The Deal, a best selling business book for decades, is outstanding at diplomacy.

In the book, he emphasizes the importance of establishing a negotiating position. NATO and Canada have benefitted from and taken advantage of the US military for too long. In addition, the tariff issue would go away if Canada became part of the US. This constitutes double negative or con in NOT joining the US. Canadian taxes would also be lower. To summarize the cons:

1. US military surtax OR suffer a weakened national security position.
2. Tariffs
3. Reduction in trade with US as customers find domestic suppliers more competitive.
4. Loss of revenue from oil pipelines.

Why did God give us an abundance of natural resources, animals, trees, plants, metals, minerals, uranium if He did not want us to eventually use them?

Those are good questions, and I do have answers.

Because, (apparently), God's plan was for us to live in a material world...so that we could learn to look past it to the unseen spiritual world which surpasses anything the earth has as material resources...and the natural resources are for those who have no eyes to see so that they can turn their lamp on too and start their car.

You see we are spiritual beings living inside of a flesh body. (We're on house arrest inside of it and can't leave it!) but God told us to subdue the earth and gave it to mankind. And in a pre fallen state, we don't need any natural gas. We don't need any electricity.

It's almost like God took a small piece of Himself and turned it loose on earth with a free will...to see if it comes back to Him? and each piece of Himself that He set free is a soul, a person. You. Me. Everyone. What does a baby seek, once it is well fed?! It still cries. Why? It wants loved. It wants cuddled from Momma! God is Love and so we all have the Love seed inside of us. And Love, is a part of God for God is Love, right? So we can reasonably say that Love is the most powerful force in all the Universes!

But we have fallen and live in the valley of the shadow of death because of it. And so it is important for us to not be distracted by material things and to continue abiding connected to the Spirit of the Lord and the spiritual. And this earth has become like an evil carnival with many funhouses and attractions, and you gotta admit some of it is interesting. But! They all are the house of death. Life is in the unseen. Life is in the spiritual with the Lord.

What's scripture say? Abide in me and all these things (that you need to live here) shall be added unto you...!

oh dear, it sounds like you are making him out to be a god. That's concerning.......guard your heart there brother, reign in your emotions. Our hearts are always being tested in this life. I don't think you are making sense. It sounds like you are saying that we should worry about our material needs. What we will eat, what we will wear...

Then you start saying Christ constantly tends to people's needs. So which is it?

So if Christ tends to all our needs then we only need to (spiritualize) and look to Jesus first. Is this not right?

Would you like to hear my personal testimony about how I had needs but no means and I thought about praying for help, but before I did I remembered this scripture so I thought oh, so I don't even have to pray about this need, so I didn't pray for it!
And you know what happened? The Lord answered the prayer (that I did not pray!) within 30 minutes!
Because I stood on His word in faith rather than pray...
