Before retiring my pastor exhibited axiomatic analysis when she proclaimed she does not need to know all the details of why family members are not talking to each other; it’s a lack of grace.

Once one thinks down to the fundamentals, axiomatic analysis liberates one from the burden of relatively trivial detail while also being confident of getting to the heart of the matter.

I stopped keeping up with facts when I grasped axiomatic analysis. Consider the following:

• Abortion
• Gun Control
• Religious Liberty
• Mandatory Coronavirus

Are you going to tell me that people, including yourself, should change their political opinion based on a new set of facts?

If so, you make yourself vulnerable to the politicization of science. ‘Follow the science’ says those who deny X and Y chromosomes exclusively determine sex and gender.

Morals should dictate politics in my opinion.

Axiomatic Analysis. It is NOT about a point of view, as in, how does the flower look from your point of view. It is taking opposite sides of the issue on deep and profound philosophical grounds.

The debate is as old as the country itself. The Hamiltonians, modern day Liberals, value Economies of Scale benefits from centralizing power. The Jeffersonians, modern day Conservatives, value safe guarding Liberty through federalism, dividing power. There is no middle ground but there is a balance. They fundamentally disagree on what the proper balance is.

Is that your final decision? All decisions are final, by definition. So, there is no point tolerating another lap on the subject. Their minds are made up. So is mine. So is yours.

I think its older still . . .

God's intent is to lead men to freedom through the Gospel, trusting Jesus for everything, being controlled from within by His Spirit.

Satan works to lead men to stay in tyranny, away from God, trusting anything other than God, and being controlled from outside themselves, by force and decree, and remaining slaves to their flesh.

Some serve God, and some serve Satan.

What the heck…? Did I read some article I liked on this website…? I don’t know how I came to be in this thread many months later but that’s an AWFUL website…I don’t remember what it was I read there that made me recommend it…

I really don't give a, just not understanding how as Christians you don't have eye's to see ,and that being we are being played by both sides . You talk about the media ,this one vs that one ,yet there owned by the same people .
