God will.I've read nearly 40 English translations and they all say Jesus is God and Hell is FOREVER! Glad you didn't 'teach' me!

Jehovah died and came to life? lol He sure did! See how God made you admit that Jesus is God!Rev 1:8= Jehovah-- There are 4 who speak in revelation--Jehovah, Jesus, John, an angel.
If I want Satan to teach me I will RUN to Kingdom Hall!God will.
Exactly, all I did was define myself differently. I left everything else the same (church attendance, creed) just to see what the difference was. God does lead you to specific scriptures, if you let Him (maybe everything God does is different - even among denominations?)I'm guessing this means that you are not part of a face-to-face Christian fellowship?
If so, did you leave the church, or never attend? Fellowship with other believers can be a real blessing.
But sometimes it can be a real curse.
.
He already has. It's called the Christian Bible that you called ERRORS and Satanic!God will.
Yes. I don't buy the one-size-fits-all idea.Exactly, all I did was define myself differently. I left everything else the same (church attendance, creed) just to see what the difference was. The essential, basic doctrines that all true believers must have are God as the Creator of the whole universe, the human rebellion that plunged humans into spiritual death, the Trinity (3-in-1 nature of God), the fully-divine and fully-human Jesus, his bodily death and resurrection that are our only way to escape the divine Judge's guilty verdict and an eternity without God, and Jesus' future return to resurrect us and re-make his universe."Ultimately, it's not a matter of who is right and who is wrong.
I need to follow my convictions. Especially as it concerns the character of God." - SteVen
(quoted from another topic) I thought it might be worth discussing as a topic.
My views on who is and isn't a Christian are pretty broad.
I can identify (and disagree with) nominal Christianity. But beyond that I am very inclusive.
I was raised Protestant, but I don't discount Catholics or Orthodox Christians.
Even if they discount me, which happens on occasion. (to be expected, I suppose)
If we put religious affiliations and doctrine aside:
- What is of most importance?
- What are your personal convictions?
- What about those who don't share your personal convictions?

Not all Christians agree with that list. Especially the bit about the "Tr1n1Ti".The essential, basic doctrines that all true believers must have are God as the Creator of the whole universe, the human rebellion that plunged humans into spiritual death, the Trinity (3-in-1 nature of God), the fully-divine and fully-human Jesus, his bodily death and resurrection that are our only way to escape the divine Judge's guilty verdict and an eternity without God, and Jesus' future return to resurrect us and re-make his universe.

Jesus is fully God and fully human, a mystery. He could die as human and could come back to permanent life as God, @Jack.Jehovah died and came to life? lol He sure did! See how God made you admit that Jesus is God!
Who is a Christian? Christians are followers of Christ; believers in what He taught."Ultimately, it's not a matter of who is right and who is wrong.
I need to follow my convictions. Especially as it concerns the character of God." - SteVen

Don't do that. It's bad enough they come looking. If I want Satan to teach me I will RUN to Kingdom Hall!
Not really a mystery at all.Jesus is fully God and fully human, a mystery. He could die as human and could come back to permanent life as God, @Jack.
Ultimately, I don't know who is and who is not a Christian, because many join church with other motives than that they love Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit as the one true God of the inspired Bible. It seems to me that a true Christian has a personal relationship with that same God.Who is a Christian? Christians are followers of Christ; believers in what He taught.
That seems rudimentary, but think about the church today. There seem to be many followers for Moses and Paul (they fightin), and not so many people that even know WHAT Jesus taught, let alone follow it.
God willed his name in his bible over 7000 places. Jesus gives support to Gods name in his bible, as do all true followers. How can they be one unless all do Jesus' Fathers will on all matters?( Matt 7:21)He already has. It's called the Christian Bible that you called ERRORS and Satanic!
On the Internet, it can be hard to tell.Ultimately, I don't know who is and who is not a Christian, because many join church with other motives than that they love Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit as the one true God of the inspired Bible. @Sister-n-Christ, please let me respectfully get this straight. Do you believe that Jesus didn't really die on the cross, as you seem to imply? If he didn't actually die and shed his blood, Paul's description of the benefits we receive from his death are false, and we are yet to be pitied as unforgiven sinners. Then, the bloody sacrifices of animals in the Old Testament are meaningless. Is that what you believe? If so, you have torn the guts out of the gospel. Not really a mystery at all.
The first people were made of God. As is all that exists of and from the Creator.
The first breath Adam took was from God. Whose breath made Adam a living soul.
Jesus was the word,God,made flesh. God first created flesh of man. And then he became flesh as the child born from Mary. He, the Father of all, the Father and her son.
Of course he could not be killed by those unbelievers in the temple or the Romans who carried out the crucifixion.
His death on the cross was his final parable to those for whom it was given to see and understand.
The flesh appeared to die on that cross for the sins the Pharisees accused him of.
However , three days later Jesus returned alive in his glorified body.
His living scripture, message, was then made ever more clear. Sin will kill the body. But they who have the spirit of God will never die.
Jesus Disciples were Jews. Those who watched his crucifixion were in large part also Jewish.
Every Jew thee knew the import of the Hebrew,Jewish, numerology system.
Jesus conquered death on the third day.
False teachers are a travesty unto themselves and their own souls.
We who are in the light of Christ are never led to follow them no matter how committed they are to deceive us. We have the truth living within.
Something they cannot understand.
But we understand them. And that's why they are pitied rather than believed.
The TrInItI is the heart and soul of the Christian faith. That rule is bogus, @St. SteVen.Not all Christians agree with that list. Especially the bit about the "Tr1n1Ti".
(which we are not allowed to discuss on this christian forum) - FYI

Many times people who act like Christians can fool you too. I've known many people who are merely actors, the meaning of the word "hypocrite," who appear to be Christians but are not.On the Internet, it can be hard to tell.
In life, you just look at what people do. "You will know them by their fruits." When someone shows you who they are, believe them. Words may lie, but actions always tell the truth.
