No one is born a homosexual. When you look into a topic whether be history or religion if you are doing an in depth study or research, it is good to consider what it is and what it is not.
Christians are not bad or unfair or unfeeling for believing homosexuality-LGBTQ is a serious sin. Serious sins are sins that disqualifies you for Heaven or it is said they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire in the NT or carried a death sentence in the OT.
Being a homosexual or gender confused is not a sin. And you can be born with it. It is the actions of homosexuality or the gender confused that is a sin.
Some people try to suggest that if you are homosexual that that give you the right to have same sex intercourse or same sex marriage. That is wrong.
Same way people say that women have the right to control their bodies. That sexual promiscuity is a right or a norm. That being sexually responsible is out of the question. That murdering their baby is a right. The whole point for abortionists and homosexuals is that they are held accountable for their actions.
The fact that they are born homosexual or not born homosexual is irrelevant. Being born Homosexual is not a sin, it is the act that is a sin.
Some Child molesters will tell you they were always that way.
Charles Mansion said he saw killing people as normal.
That does not make it right or not a sin.
So Christians believing homosexuality and child molestation and murdering someone is a sin, does not make them bad.
What is hard for Christians is how to deal with those that are homosexual. It is hard to get past the disgust or even hate. It is hard to welcome them in our churches…. Pastors prefer to have highly moral people in their congregations, but that is not always the case for those coming to Christ. Most Christians would not want to even sit next to a homosexual-LGBTQ person. But that is one of many reasons we have to be careful about judging…. denying them a chance for salvation is a sin in itself. And I have sympathy for Christians that have issues with dealing with it.
But it is a topic that needs to be talked about in the churches on how they are going to allow homosexual to repent and be saved. And that means that the church has to address this topic with homosexuals that want to come to their church so they know how they will be treated and what is expected of them.
I have my own feelings regarding homosexuals and I have to deal with them….what would Christ do? Ya got to give them a chance to be saved, you have to give them a chance not be damned to Hell.
Of course you have to be watchful when they are in your church because they are not known for their discipline or self control. That is not a bias, that is just they way they are. I am ex-military and not always peaceful. LOL And I have been accused by good Christians that I am too violent. I pretty much look like my avatar….270 pounds of muscle. But those same Christians that accused me of being too violent came to me and told me that a homosexual was hanging out in the bathroom cornering children in the stalls and looking over the stalls. I dragged him down the aisle of the church by his hair and threw him in the ditch out front. But I am 66 years old and something like that has only happened twice in my life.....in church. And in these cases they were homosexual child molesters.
But still we need to give them a chance, but they need to know what is expected of them. You see these guys in gay pride marches swinging their dingys at everyone…they need to know that is not allowed in church and what is going to happen to them if they do.
It all comes down to love and patience for your fellow men and women.
The fact people think it may happen is part of the problem.
