If God created human beings and is a rational being, it follows that his creation would be an expression of his rationality. The purpose of reproductive organs is reproduction, i.e., the propagation of the species. Sexual orientation is biologically determined to serve the same purpose. Since same-sex orientation does not serve the cause of reproduction, it follows that God would not design human beings with same-sex orientation.

That being said, my long observation is that there surely is at least a biological component to most genuine homosexuality. I'm talking about genuine homosexuals, not the fad "pretend" version that pervades the LGBTQ community. The science seems to bear this out - i.e., at least some genetic component.

It's too convenient to "blame" homosexuals for their orientation as though it were entirely within their control. We all have proclivities - not necessarily sexual - that can only be explained in terms of genetics. At least that's what I tell my wife when she wants to know why I need yet another set of new golf clubs.

No, I don't think it's a rationalization of anything. The fact is, many "sinful" proclivities do have a genetic component. This is not an excuse for not dealing with them. Give me the same genetics, childhood, culture and life circumstances as most homosexuals or murderers, and I'd probably duplicate their sins. "There but for the grace of God go I." Fortunately, I just waste way too much money on a delusional search for the Holy Grail of Golf, as did my father and brother.

My observation has simply been that most male homosexuals are somewhat effeminate and most female homosexuals are somewhat mannish. Poor @O'Darby is exceedingly thin, extremely fit, and really kind of a cutie - and I got so used to being propositioned by gays that it was no longer even a big deal. In a group of hairy-chested, testosterone-fueled Neanderthals, I was always clearly a genetic outlier.

Because humans were created in the image of God. Because we have a conscience. Because we are rational responsible humans.

Responsible is a compound word. Response, and Able, So we have the abiity to choose the correct response. This is done through our heart.

The heart is a composition of all 3 aspects of the soul (Intellect/will/emotions) and adds to it the most important aspect of the spirit, the conscience.

This is why scripture tells us to guard our heat so diligently Because out of the heart flows the issues of life. And we all know how peer pressure works, right? So when a young man is approached by a homo as if it is normal or something...he is presented with a choice to make. In his heart he wants to be liked and accepted so many make the wrong choice.

And make no mistake about it, it is a choice. There is no such thing as Oh I was born gay, I got the gay gene. Those are excuses. So it behooves us all to teach our children to, when they get approached by a homosexual in a sexual way, that they should make a fist and punch the homo right in the nose. This will likely blacken both of his eyes and give him something to remind him that...you dont do that crap to chilldren.
