Ezekiel 28:

“You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.

14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.

It was created for him, e.g. "Was prepared for you on the day you were created. " Now you know why he wanted to tempt Adam and Eve as well. If he couldn't remain there, he would do his best to make sure they couldn't either.

That chapter is about the Prince of Tyre who had exalted himself and had his people worship him. Ezekiel is scoffing at him, comparing him to the covering cherub. Ezekiel is being sarcastic. The first part of the chapter says the Prince of Tyre is a man and will die like a man.

Have you ever known any of this before? I didn't and I'm old!

The description is not a man, but a cherub. Maybe the man was possessed by the cherub...

Addressing the OP only, you're correct. Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!".
he was in Eden, and you have the correct scripture. and Lucifer was assigned here on EARTH. for he was not kicked out of heaven where God dwells, the third heaven, no, the heaven here is the SKY, here on earth. the prince of th power of the AIR, see Ephesians 2:2.
we must say, this is a good topic, full of information on our enemy, now called the devil.

The story given by the Jews about this is that the Prince of Tyre had built a Temple that resembled the Garden of Eden in some details or at least in a way the prince of Tyre thought resembled it. For example, it included the sun, moon, and planets. He claimed to be some important being and then had people worship him. Ezekiel is making fun of him. "Oh, so you say this is who you are!" He was killed later as predicted in that chapter. He was a man and died as a man.

It is more than just about the prince of Tyre and that should be quite evident.

Ezek 28:1-10 - prophecy against The prince of Tyre
Ezek 28:11-19 -- prophecy against Lucifer/Satan (who many have possessed the prince of Tyre)
Ezek 28:20-24 -- prophecy against Zidon/Sidon (Tyre and Sidon are connected)
Ezek 28:25-16 -- prophecy of redeemed and restored Israel after the Second Coming of Christ.

Verse 12 is addressed to the prince of Tyre.

12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Who should I believe, you or Ezekiel? It seems fairly clear to me.

Ezek 28:20-24 -- prophecy against Zidon/Sidon (Tyre and Sidon are connected)
Ezek 28:25-16 -- prophecy of redeemed and restored Israel after the Second Coming of Christ.
Those are different prophecies, of course.
