I like that idea as I do believe salvation is personal between the person and the Lord.The Sermon on the Mount is more than loving our brothers and sisters. It's a roadmap to holy living for the Saints.
We have to seek the Lord about what He wants from us on an individual level. Salvation is personal. Prayer, fasting and living in His word will open up the channel of God's divine direction for our lives.
I don't think the poor are at risk in the Rich man bible scriptures that's for sure.
