judging the world isn't our job. policing the world isn't our job. controlling the world and taking power over it isn't our job.
America isn't 'God's chosen nation' we're a pagan land built on 'freedom of heresy'
don't confuse this country or some political party for 'the church' -- they want to buy you, and sell you, by making merchandise of a perversion of 'the church'

I Agree, Judging the world is not our job, Judging those in the church is our job as Per Paul:

For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church[fn] whom you are to judge? God judges[fn] those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.” (1 Corinthians 5:12-13)

You seem to have a very low view of the church, while absolving sinners of responsibility.

And perhaps you need to associate with a different sort of Christians, maybe time to find a new church?

And not everyone who claims to be Christian is reborn. No need to judge others when we don't know the heart.

No need to beat the sheep, if you know what I'm saying.

So send I you to labour unrewarded
To serve unpaid, unloved, unsought, unknown
To bear rebuke, of suffer scorn and scoffing
So send I you to toil for Me alone

So send I you to bind the bruised and broken
Over wandering souls to work, to weep, to wake
To bear the burdens of a world a-weary
So send I you to suffer for My sake

So send I you to loneliness and longing
With hart a-hungering for the loved and known
Forsaking kin and kindred, friend and dear one
So send I you to know My love alone

So send I you to leave your life's ambition
To die to dear desire, self-will resign
To labour long, and love where men revile you
So send I you to lose your life in Mine

So send I you to hearts made hard by hatred
To eyes made blind because they will not see
To spend, though it be blood to spend and spare not
So send I you to taste of Calvary

"As the Father hath sent me, so send I you"

It seems to me that the Lord gives some of us "vision." We see things that others might not. We may also see solutions. Things seem cut and dry. Then we speak the answers. Then we wonder if anyone heard us. Do this a few times and frustration builds.
Perhaps a few wise shepherds were listening, wise enough to understand the time and care, as well as the Lord's leading, needed to properly cleanse, dress, and heal serious wounds.
It takes a special touch not to break a bruised reed, not to snuff out a smoldering wick.
Assembling a puzzle is a challenge.
I can see a wave on the horizon...it's growing larger, it's getting nearer, oh can't you see it, straight ahead, I can see a wave...

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16)

this doesn't say the church is going to cause the world to put on a veneer or righteousness, and this doesn't say it's the church's job to take worldly power and enforce outward moral behavior on the unbelieving world.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived
(2 Timothy 3:13)
we are going to be marginalized, persecuted, forgotten and hated. that's what God tells us. that's what the scripture says.
we are not supposed to 'take control of the nations' -- that is not what God waits for for His return. the apostolic political movement is evil. it's vain men who lust after power making merchandise of the gospel, wolves pressing sheep into their service.

don't be mad at God for the fulfillment of prophecy He spoke being carried out.
don't blame His Bride for the world doing what the world does, just as He told us they would beforehand.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

(John 3:19)
our faith does not spare the world its judgement & necessary end. it won't. it saves us from that - a remnant. remnant. it's written; we do not clean up the world by being salt and light, but it is condemned through our witness.

And now we know why SEEKER FRIENDLY FAILED the Churches . They wont correct squat inside their churches .
And it leavned them to the full . When evil is not purged out it leavens the entire flock.

Just remember this as well , YE adulterers and Adulteresses , that was james to those in error in the church .
Sin cannot be tolerated and allowed within the church , if so , it will leaven the entire flock . And by seeker friendly
they did just that . Those churches are now accepting much sin and the only correction they do give
IS against those who would correct the church , calling them judgers , haters and who knows what else .

IN short seeker friendly turned what was left of the church into a sin accepting and truth hating church .
And that aint no church of JESUS CHRIST . Let us stand and contend for the true faith
and always exhort by pure and holy sound doctrine .

Yeah…even in this very thread I saw a man encouraging a waking up and stirring up being labeled a judger and a false prophet…
(The man did not call himself a prophet, mind you.)

But, you know, itching ears and thinking you’re rich and in need of nothing…

It's also foretold that the church will be full of false teachers and idol shepherds.
It is heartbreaking, but it's what we should expect, and not be surprised at it

Will the Son find faith on the earth when He returns?

I find that if I try to mind my own business and let God be God, things go pretty good.
Eyes open...

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
... aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and you may lack nothing.

A good model for living, amen

Some make it their practice to judge and condemn the church. It makes them feel better about themselves. It's what I call beating the sheep. The false are known by their fruit, which I see to be the character they show in their lives. Like the opposite of the fruit of the Spirit.

People that make things up about others, and who cast aspersions to denigrate others reveal themselves through these behaviors. As I see it. Somehow negative innuendos and such seem to so often be hand in hand with doctrines of "caste" Christianity. It comes down to matters of envy and pride, again, as I see it.

Much love!

It's interesting the Jesus told the Jews that they ARE the salt of the earth. And now we have so many who seem to think He said, "Christian, you are SUPPOSED to BE the salt of the earth, so get with it!"

Much love!

Separating between the true and the false. This is why I stick so tightly to Scripture.

It can become frustrating, but then we have to remember we just put things out there, the Holy Spirit will move as He will. The more we are submitting in love and trust, the more the Holy Spirit will guide our words. And those words may or may not be for you, or him, or her, maybe others who read it in a year. Or maybe for myself as God works through things within me. You ARE my sounding board, after all!

;)

To not break a bruised reed, but not allow the ravaging wolf, yes, we need the Holy Spirit!

I suppose now someone will say I called someone a ravaging wolf . . . some seem to need the drama. So there's that too!

Much love!

I see it. I see a coming wave of lies and deception from within the church and without the church, and I see spiritual forces playing on our fears, and on our hubris, and our desire for easy answers. Some people accept the role of the victim, fearful, controlled. Some cling to victimizer, energized, controlling.

We need to just hold our course, children of the Heavenly Father,

In quietness and trust is our strength.

I think there is a wave prepared to crash down on us, and if we are not anchored firmly in God as He shows us Himself in the Bible, it's going to be a lot harder for us.

God will always supply our need by His Holy Spirit. If we are anchored in the truth of His Word, and know Him the way He is, we can receive from Him more fully. Deceptions will pull us off course, and these will need to be addressed in us as well.

Is this the wave you have in sight? It's not the only one I think.

Much love!

Sounds like a balancing act to me. To float in the River...which needs banks! We need to be well-grounded in the word and allow the Lord to move as He wills. There are seasons when there are floods...as long as it is Him doing it, I say, "Yes, and amen!"
I love your concern for the sheep, Marks. It helps temper people like me. Shalom!

Just say no to passive aggression!
The more we are committed to just saying exactly what we mean, the better off we all are. Passive aggression is just another form of dishonesty. Accusations with deniability. Just like inneundo, insult with deniability. And because something can be read in a "passive/aggressive" lens doesn't mean that was the way it was written. Maybe it has to do with the level of honesty we expect from others?

Much love!

For me it comes down to knowing the Word, and letting Him use it. May that be so!
