But none of you... Not one... Is willing to admit what the scripture actually says... That God sent His only begotten Son.
Untrue. It's just that we don't infer from it what you want.
It implies the existence of other children. Also, Scripture is not clear that Jesus existed before he was born. If he did exist, there is just as good of suggestive verses that we do existed before we were born. So, even if Jesus pre-existed his birth, it does not mean that he is necessarily God. As you said, as no one disagrees with, Jesus is the
son of god. Hunter is the son of Joe. Doesn't make him POTUS.
Regarding the idea that Jesus is the child of God, trinitarians do not explain how that is different from us being children of God. Colossians 3:12 points out that we too are
chosen by God (as Acts 17:31 emphasizes that God
selected this man) . John 1:12 says that we too are sons and daughters of God. So, while Jesus
was the only son of God, as all firstborns are, he is no longer the
only son of God. This is the theological inheritance the Bible speaks of.
Jesus is one of ‘us’ (teaching us to pray to God as a brother to our father), not one of ‘them’ (pray to me or to F, S & HS). Jesus remains the only child of God resurrected into a glorified body.
