Can you tell me what you understand as the answers to those questions?
You have your vision as a member of your church. I'm not going to change it, it's impossible. See It yourself. You must experience it on your personal level, then you will understand. God’s guidance by His Spirit is the Heavenly Kingdom.

To the same God Jesus prayed to. It's the only one I think may exist.

Thanks. I’d like to gain a better understanding regarding how much influence Jesus has in your life.

Jesus didn’t pray to a generic God. He prayed to a specific God, a personal God, the one God, his God, his Father: Yahweh. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel.

If you had no knowledge of Jesus, or of him praying to that specific God, would it change your answer?

Yes, I suppose it would.

As of today, 27,000 views and 189 comments in response on his X account.

As of today, 51 views and 3 responses (not counting this one) on Christianity Board.

What does that tell us, if anything?
189/27100 = 0.7% response rate
3/51 = 5.9% response rate

What that tells us is that CB readers are 8.4x more responsive than Mr. Tripp's (as of March 22). Must be because we're so darn spiritual!

Despite what you are hearing elsewhere, there is no God besides the one whom Jesus prayed to.

I’m praying you remember that.

I think you need to ask lottery winners if their money bought them happiness or misery.....

“The love of money is the root of all evil”....remember? It is the love of money that creates greedy corporations that pester people every day to buy what they are selling.....what are they selling?
I noticed that your President was boasting the other day about how much money they made by selling weapons to Israel....”full price” even.

“Jesus said to his disciples: “Truly I say to you that it will be difficult for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of the heavens. 24  Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to get through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” (Matt 19:23-24)

Why do you think he said that...twice?

It wouldn't be about buying happiness for me. It would be about not having to worry about the bottom line anymore. I would invest the money, live in a modest home with plenty of land, and drive a used truck.

My prayers often start by giving thanks then I often ask for the strength to deal with life's trials and tribulations
