I would say, Stop. And return to enjoying your fellowship with God.

And, If I've hurt another by my fleshy works, go and make it right with them. Apologize. Make restitution.

We are already reconciled to God, and if we've already received that reconciliation, then, we are reconciled to Him.

I find I generally want to apologize to God just the same!

Much love!

Lord forgive me for I have sinned today by cursing others. Why is it so much harder for me to forgive myself than forgiving others? :( (I needed this topic right now believe it or not.)

A real born again Christian does not sin:

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin

Nor does he do “fleshly works”, for:

Galatians 5:24
...they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

And furthermore, There is no future re-reconciliation.

Hebrews 10:26
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins

Correction. A real born again Christian knows that they need Jesus as a Savior because everybody but Him sins.

A real born again Christian does not sin:
So are you one of the 'real born again Christians' who doesn't sin?

Sin is separation from God. Repentance is turning from that sin and being reconciled with God. So in that sense once we are reconciled we no longer sin in that respect but unless you are one in a million I suggest that we all commit sins in that we all do things that displease God.

Why no scriptures to accompany your “correction”?

Because you are the one in need of correction. So do not be like these:

Jeremiah 7:28
... a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

That's the good question!

Our walk is by faith and not by sight. I can "see" my sins, but I can "see" God's forgiveness.

I have a tendency to hold things against myself that God does not.

Much love!

My God!

Psalm 55:2-3
[2] Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise; [3] Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

When did you stop reading the Bible?

Do you know anyone who measures up to that? Do you?

No, I do not.

Only God knows whose are his.

But Jesus did it!

And he that believes on Him:

John 14:12
...He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do

But many do not want to suffer in flesh, denying their fleshly lusts, to cease from sin; for:

1 Peter 4:1
...he that hath suffered in the flesh hath CEASED from sin

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 KJV
30) But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31) That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

And He lives in us!

I don't know why you have quoted this scripture.

So let me get this straight; it seems to me you are saying you never displease God i.e. sin/do wrong stuff, say wrong things, have wrong attitudes like pride etc..

He must be Jesus then. That's the only logical explanation that I can come up with. Otherwise we all fall short.

Ha! Same here Marks. I have gotten into the habit of saying, thank you Lord that you have forgiven me, I am so sorry I grieved your Spirit. Then repent and STOP :)
