Yes, between slamming the bible, accusing God and daring to accuse others of blaspheming the Holy Spirit, it's not hard to see where he is coming from.

But first, we need to understand that there are different uses (types) of tongues.
Five Uses of Tongues
1) Personal prayer language (speaking to God) See Acts 1:5, 1 Corinthians 14:2 and Acts 19:6
2) Intercessory prayer language (prayer in the Spirit) See Romans 8:26
3) Congregational message (preferably with interpretation) 1 Corinthians 14
4) Worship language (singing in tongues) See 1 Corinthians 14:15
5) Evangelistic language (language of the hearers) Like the outpouring at Pentecost. See Acts 2
Personal prayer language (speaking to God) See Acts 1:5, 1 Corinthians 14:2 and Acts 19:6
Typically recognized as the initial evidence of the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.
A personal prayer language is a precious ability to speak with God whenever you want.
Not that you need tongues to speak to God, but tongues takes it to a new level.
And tongues is the entrance to many other gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Those in the church in Corinth were tongues-speakers.
They were ready to understand and receive all the gifts.
Intercessory prayer language (prayer in the Spirit) See Romans 8:26
Similarly, the ability to speak in tongues is useful in praying for others.
Allow the Spirit to speak and pray the perfect prayer for the situation.
Congregational message (preferably with interpretation) 1 Corinthians 14
This is considered to be the GIFT of tongues. The Holy Spirit delivering a message to the church.
The interpretation of tongues is required to make the message understandable. (edifying)
Worship language (singing in tongues) See 1 Corinthians 14:15
During a worship service, tongues is useful to enter in at a deeper level.
Evangelistic language (language of the hearers) Like the outpouring at Pentecost. See Acts 2
A rare occurrence, but points back to the original outpouring at Pentecost.

To answer your question. I do speak in tongues.
It was an accusation thinly veiled as a question. It came out of no where and for no reason.

Tongues came like the rain came before the flood of Noah's time..."as the days of Noah (so also will the coming of the Son of Man be)."
However, in the days of Noah it was an outpouring of water--which God promised not ever to do again. In the case of tongues--the out pouring is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, marked by tongues, beginning at Pentecost. But what do the scriptures say?
"And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine."
"But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh'" (Acts 2:8-17).
Paul then adds:
"Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?" (1 Corinthians 12:27-30).
"I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification. But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?" (1 Corinthians 14:5-6).
In other words, Tongues came (like rain) showing that what came down from God in spirit would seem to be crazy-talk, that one would not understand without it being revealed in one's own language--by prophecy and teaching, which are gifts given to some by the Holy Spirit.

That is a good and commendable practice. There are times however, when we perhaps ought to ask such questions.
The big "What if?" question for our time that ought to be asked (not to change the subject of this thread, but as an example), is: "What if what we were taught has origins in the "destructive doctrines" of "false teachers" that entered into the early Church?"
As for tongues, many misunderstand its purpose.
Don't try to flip the script on me as if it is wrong to be offended at being accused of the unforgivable sin. There is obviously something wrong with you.
It was a question, but you seem to have owned it. How come? Is there something wrong with you?
