lk 2:35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

"But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life." John 6:64-68

I was thinking of
Matthew 27:54
Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw theearthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

lk 2:35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
For the WORD of GOD is sharper than any two edged sword cutting even .............to the soul .
due to the death of Christ the thoughts of many hearts would
be revealed . For from the heart of man proceeds evil thoughts .
Souls would realize they do indeed need a savoir .
As mary and all needed the savoir for salvation .

But then how many having witnessed the glory of God still continue on their own selfish carnal ways? Some people see the truth, or at least a glimpse of it, and yet will not forsake their own ways for His Way. What does it mean to love God?

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Rom 12:1-2

There are two parts to this prophecy. (1) the great distress of Mary when she saw Jesus on the cross (after a lifetime of sorrow), and (2) the separation of believers from unbelievers because of the presence of Christ on earth.

Mary may also have suffered in other ways, since Christ maintained a distance between Himself and her during His earthly ministry. We see no recorded words of Christ calling her "Mother", but He always called her "Woman", and that is because He is the God-Man. While Mary had given birth to Jesus of Nazareth, she always needed to be conscious that He was in fact her God and her Savior and would return to Heaven.

Mary and the other female disciples of Jesus gathered around the cross at Calvary and saw some of His sufferings and His being mocked by everyone. But God hid from every human being the extreme distress of Christ while He was made Sin for us. So there was darkness over the land for three dark hours (from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m.).

Before that Jesus had seen Mary and the women with John, and therefore He made Mary the "mother" of John, so that John would look after her (as a foster son) after Christ had returned to Heaven. This showed His love for His mother.

However, when the crowds at one time asked Christ to behold His mother and His brethren, Jesus made it crystal clear that His physical relatives were not necessarily His mother and brethren. Only those who believed on Him, loved Him and obeyed Him were His actual brethren and "mothers".

As to the matter of revealing the thoughts of many hearts, every time that Jesus was in public, His presence separated the chaff from the wheat. He either made bitter enemies or He made disciples. But the disciples were very few, and the enemies were many. And that led to .the cross (which Christ had anticipated all along). But Jesus had known all of this from eternity past, and the prophecies regarding Christ show us that everything concerning the crucifixion was predetermined and foreknown by God. This was all because of the grace of God and Christ.

It's a stark admission that Mary's role in being Jesus' Mother comes with devastating news--she will have to suffer the loss of her son. Mary will have to share in the suffering caused by the fall of Israel in her day. Though her son is cause for great hope, still she will have to suffer loss.

Our most important model is Jesus. Mary is just one of millions of exemplary Christians in history we should emulate. I do not exalt her above other Christians. We are all equally part of the body of Christ.

Mary was identified in the Early Church as "the Mother of God" for *theological purposes*--not to exalt her over all men and women! It was a statement that the child she gave birth to was not just human, but also God!

Catholics have turned Mary's identification as the "bearer of God" to a title of supremacy. But the designation was always meant to focus on Jesus' Deity, and not on Mary's greatness. It had nothing whatsoever to do with Mary's greatness.

The Catholic Church has expropriated Mary as a symbol of Catholic "motherhood." But Mary had nothing to do with giving birth to the Catholic Church, and nothing to do with giving the nod to Catholic supremacy over the universal Church.

On the contrary, Mary was exemplary in her humility, taking 2nd place in all she did. Her purpose was not to become a symbol of leadership, nor a symbol of greatness. Rather, her purpose was to obey God as a symbol of submission, to help any who may observe her excellent example.

You may note that Peter esteems Sarah, wife of Abraham, as a kind of mother to NT Christian women. And he esteems her because of her humility and submission--not because she is a symbol of greatness and leadership.

1 Peter 3.6 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, 2 when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. 3 Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 5 For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands, 6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Very misleading statements. You misrepresent these passages of Scriptures, insinuating things that just aren't there. Mary is a sinner, and only one member of the Body of Christ, one among many millions. She is not a "queen." She had nothing to do with the work of Saving us from our sins, and was herself a sinner. Being Jesus' Mother did not make her any less a sinner and any less in need of being led by the Holy Spirit and redeemed by her son, Jesus.

the eternal son of God cannot have a sinner for a mother, Satan would constantly accuse him of this
If His mother is a Virgin the its just as possible that she is sin less
Gen 3:15 enmity total war none of satans works are found in her
Lk 1:28 full of grace
Blessed why blessed this is before she consented to our salvation Lk 1:28

Jesus is the fruit of Mary
Full of grace and truth
A bad tree cannot bear good fruit!

Ark of the new covenant!
The dwelling place of God!
God dwelt in Mary’s womb for 9 months, remember the ark was incorruptible wood covered with pure gold signifying Mary’s immaculate purity!
read exodus or any place in the Old Testament where something came into contact with God or was consecrated to the service of God it had to be pure and Holy!
In the ark was the word of God!
In Mary the new ark is the living Word!
In the ark was the mana!
In Mary was the bread come down from heaven! Jn 6
Bethlehem means house to of bread!

Lk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Matt 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, (Isa 7:14) and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Jn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Anything consecrated to God MUST be pure and Holy and never used for any other ordinary purpose

Ezekiel 44:2 “This gate shall remain shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter by it; for the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered by it; therefore it shall remain shut.”

No entry for Satan to cos her to sin

Song of Solomon 4:12 A garden inclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
