Absolutely. That's on you, between you and God. It's not to prove to people "you are approved by God." Are you sure you are reading that scripture correctly? If I wanted to be more direct, that was to Timothy, Paul was reminding him of the Old Testament I believe, but I am just a man and could be wrong. I am forgetful.

The problem a lot of the time is people don't even know the context of the bible in general. Quoting this and that doesn't mean a lot to someone who is new and does not know the content, or context revolving around the Bible itself. They are gonna come out a mangled mess! That is why I believe if anyone is gonna teach the bible they should do so from Matthew - to John, verse by verse, to Acts - Revelation, verse by verse. All while saying what you are stating... do not believe me, here is the contents I have to provide you do your own research check, look under every nook and cranny until the truth that sets you free, sets you free in liberty by the holy spirit, and where the spirit of the LORD is, there is freedom, even the Spirit of the Lord Yeshua in the hearts of those whom are Yahavahs.

All the while, growing in those things and becoming knowledgeable about them, it's still faith, ... which please God...

Because the evidences of Yahvah are evident, however they choose not to have faith... Yahavah knows who are his, and who outright do not desire him in their life period. Paul goes on in Chapter 2. Talking about people who are supposed to be faithful but are judging others... God doesn't play favorites.

People making other happy, on the sake of for themselves or because of service to the Lord Jesus? You know those little factors of life will be accounted for just as much as the secrets. I think that answer is a bit to far out there. It's gonna be a faithfully lived life, for sure, DESPITE set backs, or times we think are useless but are being used on behalf of Yahavah for your own life of faithfulness in rewarding you with spiritual things.

The Bible is a collection of Letters over time. What authority/proof do you have to say it's written to anyone today?

There is a duality when people refer to the word of God as being both, a person and the collection of letters you mentioned.

Regarding proof, what proof will you accept? For me it was Moses last speech to the Hebrew people, which had no end date to tie the law on the fence and wrist and talk to your children about it when you are home.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Best guess @Wrangler, all we have is evidence(s). I can't prove Yahavah/Yahweh, even exists.

He is believed on in faith, while we have evidences, and references, that Yeshua came, died, was buried, raised, ascended, and returned.
