The average summertime temp in NZ is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius, more or less. (68-86.F). We have temperate climates here.
It's about 82 today. I think that because August is soon upon us- which tends to be nicer than hot humid July.
Sept and Oct are gorgeous months.
November gets chilly.

Wow, nice-- and 28 is very cold there in winter? Awesome! Where I am- we definitely have 4 very distinct seasons.
Anywhere from from snowy 10 degrees to hot humid 105-F and everything in between.

28 is cold in the area I live in, yes. It's a lot colder down in the South Island. We have 4 distinct seasons, but we have microclimates because of the ranges, so the weather can change very fast from sunny to raining heavily and then sunny again or just cold or foggy. :clmSmlx

Yes, on the same day. A lot of tourists tend to get caught out while tramping. They wear light clothing, expecting nothing more than a day tramp, but soon discover how unpredictable the weather can be, particularly in the mountains and ranges. We don't have any wild animals or anything poisonous to worry about, but the greatest danger for tourists is exposure to the elements...

That's wonderful! We swing from teens and single digits (Fahrenheit) in winter to 100+ in summer with crazy humidity.
