Daniel 7:13-14
13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

Some Christians think that this is in our future but I believe that the bible shows us that it happened on the day of Jesus accention and it was the same time as Revelation 12:5-10

5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.

Notice that in both sets of verses that Jesus receives His authority and power that shows that they happened at the same time.

I think that Hebrews 10:12-13 confirms the timing of this when Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father when He presented Himself to the Father as our one time sacrificial Lamb.

12 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 and since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool.

And when did Jesus say that He would sit at the right hand of the Father?

Matthew 26:63-64
63 But Jesus remained silent.

The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”

64 “You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

Yes after His death and resurrection

In Daniel 2 we are given the following information: -

Daniel 2:34-35; 44-45: - 34 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
. . . . . .
44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold — the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this.
NKJV
We also have the following passage in Daniel 7: -

Daniel 7:9-14: - Vision of the Ancient of Days

9 "I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
10 A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated,
And the books were opened.

11 "I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

13 "I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.
NKJV

Isaiah also wrote this prophecy: -

Isaiah 24 17-23: -
17 Fear and the pit and the snare are upon you,
O inhabitant of the earth, {i.e. God’s earth}.
18 And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.

19 The earth, {i.e. God’s earth}, is violently broken/spoilt beyond spoiling,
The earth is split open/broken beyond breaking,
The earth is shaken exceedingly/in turmoil beyond turmoil.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro/waver beyond wavering like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut/the {watchman’s} hut shall waver;
Its/The transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall/be overwhelmed, and not rise again/continue.

21 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones,
And on the earth/face of the land the kings of the earth/face of the land.
22 They will be gathered together,
As prisoners are gathered in the pit,
And will be shut up in the prison;
After many days they will be punished.
23 Then the moon will be disgraced
And the sun ashamed;
For the Lord of hosts will reign
On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
And before His elders, gloriously.
NKJV(with my suggested paraphrasing)
The Question in the thread title as to when did/does Daniel 7:13-14 happen is not that difficult to answer.

A look at the history of what has already happened, will tell us that the Gentile kings of the earth and their armies have not yet been judged by God on the earth and from Isaiah 24: 21-22 we also know that the fallen heavenly hosts are also judged at the same time and both the heavenly hosts and the kings of the earth will be gathered together to be imprisoned for many days, i.e. 365,250 days, which has the same duration as 1,000 years as given in Revelation 20:1-3.

We also know that the 2,300 years of the Gentiles trampling God's sanctuary and His earthly Hosts has not yet run its allocated time fully yet and the clock countdown began around the year 250 BC when the Gentile kings began trampling God's sanctuary and His earthly hosts, i.e. the Israelites.

In Revelation 16:12-16 we are also told that the purpose of the three foul frog like spirits in this prophecy was to begin the drawing of the kings of the earth to Armageddon, where Christ tells us in Luke 14:28-32, that they will be fighting against a heavenly power, i.e. Christ, the son of man, and also recorded in Revelation 19:11-16 and will be judged for their activity against God's Sanctuary and earthly hosts.

If the visitation of the three frog like spirits only occurred in our near past, in year 2001, then the drawing of the kings of the earth to begin gathering at Armageddon to be judged, is in our near future, and from my studies, I would suggest that the time of the Judgement of the Kings of the earth at Armageddon is a near future event that will happen around 40+ years after the three frog like spirits are observed doing signs and wonders by all of the peoples of the earth. In my estimation, the gathering of the kings of the earth at Armageddon will occur in under 25 years from now.

Now the question that needs to be answered is when Does the Son of Man receive his dominion over all of the earth? From Daniel 7:11-14, it would seem that Christ received his dominion over all of the peoples of the earth shortly after the Beasts of Daniel 7:1-12 are judged, and that since the beasts are fallen angels, along with Satan, their demise occurs at the same time that the Kings of the earth are also judged upon the earth and they are to be judged at Armageddon which is a near future event.

Shalom

You are assuming that your time interpretations are correct when they are your view. We have very different views on that like in Daniel chapter 2 King Nebuchadnezzar was told that he was the first king the head of gold so that started back in Daniels day. I also see Armageddon back in the first century too but thanks for your reply

That same event of is described 3 times in Daniel 7.
KJV Daniel 7:9-11
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

I am no different to your assumptions that your timeline is correct. We both use the scriptures and historical facts that support a particular point of view. Your time interpretations are correct when viewed through your particular glasses and their distortion.

The problem is, "Have we both chosen the right scriptural historical matches to provide confirmation that the respective prophetical understanding is actually correct?"

You then go on to suggest that I had made a reference to King Nebuchadnezzar, which I had not, as any mention of him was irrelevant to the argument that I was presenting. I agree with you that King Neb was informed that he was the head of gold with respect to the statue in this prophecy. However, Jeremiah, in Jer. 50:39 tells us that Babylon would be devastated and desolated by the Grecian Empire holding dominion over the nation of Babylon and would remain so for around 2,000 plus years. If my understanding of Jeremiah's prophetic words in Jer. 50 is correct, then that means that the last two segments of the Statue are applicable to this present era.

This means that our perspective with respect to God's timeline for the end times is also very different.

It seems to me that you are forcing a Preterist understanding over the Biblical Historical outcome. In which our acceptance of each others POV will be difficult.

Satan has yet to be cast down to earth and he remains the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2), And He is the "god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4). In other words, Satan still holds sway in the 1st heaven, he has fallen from the 3rd heaven where he was the cherubim that covereth (Ezekiel 28:14-15 and from the second heaven when Jesus saw him fall like lightning. (Luke 10:18). He will be cast down to earth for a short while, and then chained in the bottomless pit for a thousand years and finally cast into the lake of fire. All of this is the fall of Satan.

Why do you ignore the chronology of the rest of Daniel 7?

I don’t I see this as being the faithful Jews who stayed faithful to God and didn’t bend the knee to Antiochus Epehanies who was the 11th king because 3 were uprooted before him thus he became the 8th king

So how would you explain the verses I quoted?

Daniel 2:44
44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever

These faithful people before the cross are a part of the same kingdom as us as they are saved in the very same way

So why are we told to put on the armor of God?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

Satan is accusing the brethren in heaven, and this gives him the impetus to attack the children of God. (Think Job) He will no longer be able to when he is cast down, and his only recourse then will be to persecute the saints Physically, instead of in the Spiritual realm as he is doing now. In other words, he has spiritual influence now but will only have physical power for a short while on earth, while the saints face his wrath and willingly fall victim to it, they overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:10-11)

Jesus receives the throne on the earth that Satan tempted him with in the wilderness at the seventh trumpet, after the great tribulation. He rules in heaven already.

But that didn't answer how you explain the verses I provided and Jesus is the ruler over all of Gods creation now.

Revelation 3:14
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation

Jesus said in Matthew 26 that He would be seated at the right hand of the Father after His death and resurrection

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; (Revelation 3:14, KJV)

Not Sure what Translation you are using but the word Beginning is Arche in the Greek, from which English derives words such as archetype.... it has to do with Christ's being the first of the Creation, and his preeminence in that creation.
Here is a link to the Strong's for that word, and you can look it up yourself.
G746 - archē - Strong's Greek Lexicon (kjv) (blueletterbible.org)

Ah, I found it, You have the NIV, which is one of the worst translations out there....No Offence. I Am not one of those KJV Only People, But alot of the modern versions are corrupted by some Gnostic texts from Alexandria and you always need to check the Original Greek.

Are they not the same doesn’t God reign over His creation now?

Psalm 47:8

God sits on His holy throne.

No. Because of the sin of man Satan usurped that authority over this world. This is why he could offer the kingdoms of this world to Christ Jesus when he tempted him in the wilderness, and this is why It is said in Revelation 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." Because this is when Christ Jesus Begins His rule, at the seventh Trumpet. It is then and only then when the sons of God will be revealed that creation groans for... (Read Romans 8:19-25)
