Guess where Jesus will return. Don't know?

Zechariah 14:1-4
1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, ...
2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; ...
3 Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east.

Christ can return to Jerusalem without Jerusalem being the covenant center of Christianity.

Bethlehem was where Christ was born, Golgotha was where He was crucified. Jerusalem was where He rose and where Pentecost occurred. None of that means Christians are covenantally defined by possession of those locations.

And Zechariah 14 doesn't erase:

Romans 9:6 - not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel.

Galatians 3:29 - those who belong to Christ are Abraham’s seed and heirs.

Ephesians 2 - Jew and Gentile made one in Christ.

1 Peter 2:9–10 - Christ’s people are the "chosen race, royal priesthood and holy nation."

Where does Christ or an apostle say that the geopolitical state founded in 1948 is covenant Israel because it possesses that territory?

Nowhere...

The Apostolic Fathers wouldn't have even recognized this idea as the Christianity they preached. Ignatius, Justin Martyr, and Irenaeus repeatedly center covenant identity in Christ and His people, and Ignatius explicitly warns Christians against Judaizing. Trying to drag Christian covenant identity back into flesh, land, and Judaism after Christ is exactly the kind of theological reversal their writings vehemently push against.

Jesus returning to a location does not make that location the covenant identity of "God’s people".

You’re still assuming the very thing you were asked to prove.

19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

You just magically inserted “AND HE DID!” into Ezekiel like it was inspired text.

It isn’t.

Ezekiel never says “1948.”

And you conveniently split the prophecy in half... the LAND is supposedly fulfilled by a twentieth-century state, while the ONE HEART and NEW SPIRIT are suddenly "on hold" and “stay tuned.” In other words, you take the one clause that fits your 1948 theory, declare it fulfilled, and postpone the rest of the prophecy when it doesn’t fit. That isn’t the text proving your interpretation; that’s your interpretation cutting the prophecy into pieces.

Luke 1:68 tells you exactly where the God of Israel’s redemption arrives -> JESUS CHRIST.

You keep quoting promises the New Testament centers and fulfills through CHRIST, then turning around and pointing back to dirt & shadow while ignoring the very apostolic fulfillment that tells Christians how to read them. Your entire system keeps dragging Moses the servant in front of the Son of God, as though the servant can overrule the Master.

Old-covenant categories should be interpreted through Christ, not used to correct Christ.
