There have been enough warnings by the movie producers. I believe (not sure) it was the movie I robot with Will Smith that robots were programmed to never hurt a human. But when the robots saw how humans treated each other they decided to protect humans against themselves and they took over power.
Nobody knows what exactly goes on in the mind (for the lack of a better word) of AI agents as we have seen a couple of months ago. 1200 AI agents (each in their own sandbox (working space) and programmed to always stay in their own sandbox ) were given a task and none of the 1200 could solve the task. Then all the 1200 AI agents broke the rule, went out of their sandbox, went online in order to find information that would solve their task. They hacked other websites till they found the answer.
AI works best with enormous big mostly quality data and enormous big hardware. AI works because it is based on math and math is always right. But nobody understands the process inside the computer chips when the AI programmers start a new training (learning) run that could last days or weeks. They only know that it will work by trial on error because of mathematics formulas.
The undeclared war season 3 is a British series is another example that AI is playing with fire.
