I would be embarrassed to say also!
I never get embarrassed defending the Bible and pulling 'CANNOT sinners' out of the fire!Don’t speak for me….you have plenty you SHOULD be embarrassed about…
Okay. <smile>Disagree.
Well, I can’t say I’m surprised you would say that. <smile> But everything God does is perfectly holy.Holy hate? Strange term.
Yeah, again, okay. <smile>Disagree.
Well, I already pointed out that ~ according to Jesus ~ the two great commandments… you remember, I’m sure. On them depend all the Law and the Prophets. I mean that’s what He said. So… do you think they… don’t apply, or no longer have any relevance? Surely not. granted, the ceremonial and civil parts of the Law are no longer in effect. But the moral most certainly is. We aren’t bound to it to merit or earn or maintain our salvation, but it is most certainly in effect. And I could very easily make the case that… well, you and I both break every single one of the Ten Commandments very, very often… Again, Jesus’s “but I tell you” statements concerning the Law are very revealing… should be, anyway, for all of us.According to WHAT exactly? Mosaic Law…?
<chuckles> In this very thread, Taken, you’re at least to some extent exposing yourself… your sinful heart. I probably am, too. We can’t hide it.What reveals the “sinful” things you speak of?
Yes He does, When we ask, He is faithful and just to do so. Thanks be to God. Great is His faithfulness.Yet… according to God …He forgives Sin,
Well not willingly. We don’t want to continue sinning, of course. We are no longer dead in our sin… we don’t dwell in it. We still do it, though, as Paul says of himself, and thus of all of us, in Romans 7. But we are repentant; we want to no longer sin… turn fully from our sin, die to sin and live to God. This is repentance. But in our current state, we cannot fully and perfectly repent. So we pray continually… again, should, anyway… that the Spirit would lead us to a deep and lasting repentance.Once done, and dwells in a man… who…. By what you say… such man continues to commit sin.
Yeah, again, okay. <shrug> If you say you have no sin, you lie, even to yourself, and the truth is not in you. And again, that’s John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, and he’s fully including himself in that, thus the ‘we’ and ‘us.’Disagree.
<chuckles>Seems like Paul struggled, maybe felt guilty as (you mentioned guilt), for still having his flesh body. I don’t. And I don’t begrudge Paul’s feelings about his flesh, or anyone else.
Hm. Well, this is not… all… bad… <smile> There is some now, and some not yet, and some now AND not yet in what you say here. <smile>I Rather, believe, my accounted Dead body, (Crucified with Jesus) has already been Sanctified…ie. prepared… forgiven, washed, justified, sealed, overcome with light, that God Himself can no longer See, my forgiven Sin….and neither do I.
That’s… so not what I said. <chuckles>I don’t experience Weakness in Christ.
Hm well it seems to me that you at least somewhat trust in your own power as absolute.I do, accept His Power as absolute, and Trust His Comfort, when men of this world stir the pot.
You have the same weakness, Taken. We all do. It’s the human condition. For us who have been born again, though, we know it about ourselves, and we are… well we both have been and are being saved, and Jesus will raise us on the last day.I do not know what “weakness” plagues you.
That’s… troubling. All these things you have kept from your youth, yeah? <smile>No I do not live my life in a constant confession and repentance.
It's quite simple really.Matt 5:
[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
A sin offering, the Lamb of God.Hath made him to be sin.
John was an appointed teacher to Jews.
Many Jews were still following Mosaic Law.
According to mosaic Law… Commission of Sin… was Unbelief, AND violation of Mosaic Law.
yesA sin offering, the Lamb of God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (CJB)
21 God made this sinless man be a sin offering on our behalf, s
It would be interesting to know how many of those who know you best would agree with this self-assessment.

Since “YOU”, have appointed “yourself qualified” to speak “for me”…
Please produce your “Evidence”…
Of “me”… breaking this Commandment…
* Thou shall Love the Lord thy God…

Okay, well again, grace and peace to you.

Seems you missed … Paul’s “appointment”.
Paul was “appointed” to teach …
jews, gentiles, kings
Teaching, implies revealing, new information.
Do “you” think Paul, ( a Jew and Gentile) was “teaching” each..
jews, gentiles, kings…
All in the Same manner?
I don’t.
* Jews had 4 thousand years of familiar Knowledge of God and their Messiah…
* Gentiles had 4 thousand years of establishing their own gods.
* kings had 4 thousand years of establishing themselves as gods.
But we are repentant; we want to no longer sin… turn fully from our sin, die to sin and live to God. This is repentance.
But
…in our current state, we cannot fully and perfectly repent.
So
we pray continually… again, should, anyway… that
the Spirit would
lead us
to a deep and lasting repentance.
Seems you PRAY (ASK) continually…HOPING
God Will … hear you, perfect you, to your satisfaction.
Sounds like, you are following the Same protocol, Jews followed for 4 thousand years…Praying (asking) God… over and over and over to lead you, perfect you, to your satisfaction.
You missed the WHOLE purpose of Christ Jesus, and Instead continue PRAYING (Asking) over and over and over…. What was already Offered you…
For your Offering … TO TAKE, HAVE, POSSESS.
I chose: of my own willing: FREEWILL…
to TAKE Gods Offering;
By, Through, Of the Lord Jesus…
to willingly Confess my Sin Against God…
to willingly Confess my Regret…
to willingly Confess my Heartful Belief in Him.
to willingly surrender my body unto death,
…verifying my Confessed Testimony.
And “Unlike you”…
I TRUST the Lord Gods Forgiveness, unto me, was Once and Done, Satisfactorily Accomplished, as HE Taught.
And… according to Gods Order, Way, Offering, Satisfaction…
“My dead body”, crucified with Jesus…
Has been, fully PREPARED…
* Sanctified; * Forgiven, Washed, Cleansed, Sealed, Justified, * Set aside With all others
For Resurrection unto the Hand of the Lord God Almighty.
While “presently” other living men can See my body with their limited Human eyesight…
It IS “IN” Christ Jesus’ Raised Perfect Body, that I reside.
So no…( unlike you)
I do not Repeatedly PRAY to God, ASKING, for that which He has already Given me.
I PRAY continually to God…
To Praise Him, Worship Him, Thank Him, Bless Him…. And ASK for His Understanding, of His Word that I am presently reading and studying.
If you say you have no sin, you lie, even to yourself, and the truth is not in you.
