If we live by the standards set us by Jesus we may please many of those we come in contact with but obviously even living a perfect life in Christ - which we obviously don't yet - there would be those who would find fault with us. There is a saying from Shakespeare's 'Hamlet' - "To thine own self be true" and provided we are not living unrighteously we need not worry about what people think of us.
yes indeed sister . and paul nor any other apostel sought to please men either .
Todays all inclusive sin acceptin many path accepting is to please men .
Now i leave us with pauls reminder .
For if i sought to please men i would not be the servant of CHRIST .
We truly ought to seek to please GOD first . Too many are far too concerned and worried
about not offending men and rather to please them , but forget and have forgotten
that which is pleasing unto the world , IS NOT PLEASING TO GOD .
the sins they accept and overlook , the big broad path to GOD they try and create
GOD AINT WELL PLEASED AT ALL WITH IT , though many many many people are , GOD IS NOT .
Thanks for the reminder sister
