We agree with each other that there is certainly some concern with Trump. He was the oldest U.S. President to take office for years ago. If he wins again he will be the oldest President we've ever had by far. But do you really think we're going to be in better shape if Biden wins?
I'm looking at the way the two of them are in public. Biden surely does much better than Trump, who is often confused, slurs words, and has difficulty holding a water glass. Suggesting that people should inject disinfectant to "clean lungs" was so bizarre as to cause even his supporters concern.
Biden's public appearances are confident and focused. So there is that. Biden's proposals for the pandemic are based in science with no weird fantasies.
And Biden doesn't get confused at the end of the day, as Trump frequently does. Lots of old people remain sharp long after 70. My Mom was still doing tax work into her late 80s, and was very good at it.
Doesn't it concern you that the current chair of the DNC has very close ties to George Soros?
I know a lot of people on the right are angry that he escaped the Holocaust. But they are mostly the extreme right, not typical of all conservatives. It's the white nationalists who are trying to make a demon out of him, not rational conservatives.
Why would we want even more of the rioting and destruction going on in this country in the future?
It's one of the reasons people have lost confidence in Donald Trump. He's aggravated the problem.
