even if Jesus returns in this symbolic way...Jesus didn't leave in this symbolic way.

There’s nothing symbolic about His ascension (it was what it was) or His return (it will be what it will be. The manner in which His return is portrayed ~ the imagery given to John in that particular vision in Revelation 19 ~ conveys to us the power, the conquest, and the finality of His return.

Jesus left not riding a white horse…

…and will return in the same manner.

and with no symbolism.

If you would read Isa. 28:9-13 in context, you would discover that what you quoted is a negative comment by God about OC Israel, revealing that He can only teach them like that of an infant ("baby steps").

Even today, they are still at the breast drinking milk.
This is true of everyone who does not have the permanent indwelling of God's Holy Spirit. Please read John 7:38-39 and all of 1 Cor. ch. 2.

Yes it was a negative comment about Israel and it still applies to people of today so that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
