No... the law which came in through Moses was not able to cleanse a man's conscience from Sin. Hebrews 9:9.The Law of Moses was brought in so man could understand how utterly sinful he was. Although there were requirements for fulfilling that law, God passed over the sins of the people until his seed came. The promised Messiah. The law then was passing away and a new law came in through Christ.
That law is the law of the Spirit. He do not follow the old Law Moses brought in because Jesus came and surpassed that law through the sacrifice of himself. A change in law required a sacrifice through blood. The first covenant under the Law of Moses came with sacrifices of animal blood. The second covenant came through Christ death and resurrection on the cross. The bible says: Hebrews 9
15 Therefore, He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance, because a death has taken place for redemption from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. 16 Where a will exists, the death of the one who made it must be established. 17 For a will is valid only when people die, since it is never in force while the one who made it is living.
