My encouragement is to search the scriptures and see what is true. For the truth will set you free. The scriptures will help aid you in your faith in trusting God.
This topic is still talking about reasons why Jesus was sent. One of the reasons was to help us, in sending the spirit. The spirit is what holds back the fleshly proclivities once a person is reborn again, and now they can grow like a plant in the ground. Becoming rooted in knowing God and Christ, and know what Gods will is.
All people have issues and problems and thorns in their sides like Paul did. Jesus had said to him and pointed out that his grace is sufficient.
The scripture is what helps a person become watered and fed and God by their faith helps them to grow in the spirit, and the flesh can become lesser you won’t react in the flesh as much as you desiring to walk in the spirit instead.
Those are truths founded in the Bible.
“I (Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ) have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I (Paul the Apostle of Jesus Christ by the Will of God) inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I (Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ) am a slave to sin.”
Romans 7:21-25 NLT
Of course you continue moving forwards in Romans you get to chapter 8 the talks more about the spiritual side.
Here is where Jesus told Paul his grace was sufficient enough for him.
“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I (Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ) suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NLT
Anyone who would like to share more reasons to why Jesus had been sent and died please feel free to share.
