A Christian doesn't have to be perfect not to fornicate.
I don't even read anywhere in Scripture how the man Jesus did all things perfect.
He did all things well and went about doing good, but nowhere do I read how He was perfect as a man in mortal flesh.
So what if He hit His thumb rather than the nail? That wouldn't make Him anything less than the Son of God in the flesh.
Now, if He had cursed because of it, that would have been different.
But we know He didn't do so, because, though He was tempted in all points like all men in mortal bodies, He didn't go ahead and sin because He made a mistake.
Being perfect as he is perfect does not include making mistakes.
