You haven't explained a thing Matthew and what it is you believe I don't believe you know yourself. I think you have these words in your mind and someone has told you 1+1=3 and no matter how many times you are shown it's 2 you hold onto 3 with your dear life.

Because it has been here since the beginning, @Lambano. There also seems to be shades of darkness in the heavenly realm (Not in the Kingdom of God though), but that is all conjecture.

When will the Darkness be defeated?

It starts here on earth being spiritually born again and the darkness in our heart changes from dark to light because of Jesus. So keep faith remember one day when you pass away, if you made the choice to Love God and Love Others you will be able to go to the Kingdom of God and reside there, as a child of God or a son or daughter of God.

It’s a daily battle, between the flesh and the spirit.

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

Romans 8:14 for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;

Ephesians 6:12 12 because we have not the wrestling with blood and flesh, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual things of the evil in the heavenly places;

Of course I believe their age has done passed but we still wrestle against the darkness.

As I said earlier - you established Peter was being a satan to Jesus, an adversary. What is there to explain? Anyone can be an adversary to another.

I think in your mind you have notions which the Bible doesn't teach.

Job's adversary could be an angel, could a jealous believer.. and what we know is God brought all the suffering upon Job 42:11 that much is super clear!

11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that Yahweh had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one a ring of gold.

No. Satan use to be the accuser to the brethren. You can see what he use to do in Job. He has been done away with now. Darkness that existed at the beginning before creation still exist. Dark vs Light.
