Dear gordon7,Mankind was made spiritually marred, so God made another, new man, that is not spiritually marred or subject to vanity. ( CREATED AFTER GOD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUE HOLINESS)
Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
God is the potter, having power over the clay, and of the SAME LUMP, to make one unto honour, and ANOTHER, unto dishonour.
That is the testimony also, that if a man purges himself from these ( from unbelief-dishonour) he shall be meet for the Masters use and PREPARED, unto EVERY GOOD WORK.
Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
2 Timothy 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
All mankind believes in lies to be of their father the devil or believes in the truth, to be of God....
2 Thessalonians 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
It still sounds like you believe in man's work and that mankind has the ability to decide if they will be a vessel of honor (the Elect/First Fruits) or a vessel of dishonor. Is that the case? Or do you believe, as I have been presenting, that the Elect are Christ's workmanship and that He alone decides who will be a vessel of honor or a vessel of dishonor?
Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
2Tim 1:9 who did save us, and did call with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages…
Rom 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.
Mankind has no ability to choose which vessel Christ will make them. But by the sure Word of God, we know that Christ will save all mankind before the ages come to an end.
