The New Testament verses not included in modern English translations are verses of the New Testament that exist in older English translations (primarily the King James Version), but do not appear or have been relegated to footnotes in later versions, such as the New International Version (NIV). Scholars have generally regarded these verses as later additions to the original text.

Although many lists of missing verses specifically name the NIV as the version that had omitted them, these same verses are missing from the main text (and mostly relegated to footnotes) by the Revised Version of 1881 (RV), the American Standard Version of 1901,[1] the Revised Standard Version of 1947 (RSV),[2] the Today's English Version (the Good News Bible) of 1966,[3] and several others. Lists of "missing" verses and phrases go back to the Revised Version[4] and to the Revised Standard Version,[5] without waiting for the appearance of the NIV (1973). I’m sure you know that NIV was published by Zondervan but is now OWNED by Harper Collins, who also publishes the Satanic Bible and The Joy of Gay Sex.
The NIV has now removed 64,575 words from the Bible including Jehovah, Calvary, Holy Ghost and omnipotent to name but a few…

If you must use the NIV or ESV
BUY and KEEP AN EARLIER VERSION OF the BIBLE. A Hard Copy cannot be updated. All these changes occur when they ask you to update the app. On your phone or laptop etc. Buy and KEEP EARLIER VERSIONS AND STORE THEM.
There is a crusade geared towards altering the Bible as we know it; NIV and many more versions are affected.

I have used the KJV for over 40 years now. But I also know there are many excellent English translations as well. some good, some fair and some downright abominable like the NWT. Paraphrases are sketchy at best.

I also have an old NIV which when debating with a KJV only guy, he gave me a booklet showing the superiority of the KJV> I picked 20 verses from that booklet, used Strongs tied to the KJV and the results were 16-3-1. The NIV translated it better 16 times, the KJV 3 and they were tied once.
I do not know of more modern translations, but I expect all to deteriorate over time in this age of apostasy. So it is no surprise if updated NIVF's are getting more and more watered down.

The fact is RL that every English version of the Bible that translates the Divine Name into English unaltered renders it Jehovah. You might note as well that the translators of the KJV of the Bible tried to remove it, but were unable to, how do you explain that? Jehovah accepts His name in English, and after His name was spread throughout the earth Ex 9:16 He did allow some versions to almost remove it, but they still overlooked it in a few places. Do you know of any version that was able to remove it completely?

Yet all versions of the Bible contain it in some form. So what are you saying Jim, that Hebrew cannot be translated into English? Or just God's name?

No. Adonai is not in the NKJV. It's in the DBY and the Vulgate.

The fact is it doesn't matter how many bibles translate it Jehovah. All we have is YHWH with no vowels and so most bibles carried the tradition of Lord. I hope you don't mind Riburt!
