- What is heaven?

- Is that where we go when we die?

- Do unbelievers go to hell instead?

- Will there still be a heaven during the Millennium?

- Will there still be a heaven after the new heavens and earth are created?

i should like to contend that for the earth to be transformed into a Paradice there will need to be a need for the kingdom to take control of the weather which by the way refers to the things in earth's heavens . as it is now any thing could happen ,floods high wind , cold ,hot you name it we have seen it. a new earth under control of the kingdom would stop all earth quakes or even make them so lite no one could care. volcanos would stop .

@Behold your posts are nothing more than a regurgitation of your own fixations….being “born again” and going to “hell”….about which you seem to have no real understanding of either….scripturally.

What you post is theology not Scripture. Do you know the difference?
Go back over my last response to you and see how many questions you failed to answer….?

For example….I asked you…”What is the purpose of being “born again”? What are those who are “born again” going to do in heaven?
I don’t recall you ever saying what your expectations are after gaining that inheritance.”

What are you going to heaven for? God created humankind to live forever on earth. (Gen 3:22-24)

I asked you…”What then is “the cross of Christ”? It’s a symbol of his death, which alone pays for the sins of all mankind….but does it mean that all mankind are saved? Apparently not as you gleefully assign those who don’t believe as you do, to a hell of eternal torture, as if that is the God whom Jesus came to represent to us . . . .Does God have a double standard?“

Does he? Can you tell me the difference between “Sheol”…”hades”….”Gehenna”…the “lake of fire” and “tartarus”…..all of these come under one umbrella in Christendom…yet not one of them means eternal conscious torture in a fiery dungeon. Please explain these word in their original languages.

I asked you…”Was sin a choice for the human race? Or was it inflicted on us without our consent?
What part does it play in the big picture, Behold?
Do you even have a big picture?

I asked…”why would God hold us accountable for something that is not our fault, and then punish us with heinous torture for all eternity because of being born in sin? That would be like creating humans without legs and punishing them for not walking….”

Apparently you don’t have a big picture to frame your beliefs…you just pick what appeals to you in twisted verses that betray a lack of any real research on your part.

“Beliefs” of themselves are useless unless they fit in with the Bible’s overall narrative.…the big picture is how it all makes sense. There are no contradictions in the Bible…only in flawed theology.

You plainly ignore what you cannot answer….hoping no one will notice….and you ignore a lot.
It doesn’t seem to phase you at all that you have no answers to important questions….you just stick to the party line…..but it’s your own insignificant party….in one isolated part of the world….is that what Christianity is to you? How can you be “hated by the world” if no one knows who you are? (John 15:18-21)

Will you go to heaven when you die? - (or the other place)

Neither. When a person dies, they go to the grave, return to the dust of the earth, and await to be called for in their respective resurrection.

See - Sincerly Dead -

- What is heaven?

Depends on which one you are referring to:

QUESTION: IN THE BIBLE, HOW MANY HEAVENS ARE THERE?

There are 3 “Heavens”.

(1.) The place where the fowl fly above the earth, also known as the air or atmosphere.
(A.) Genesis 1:20 KJB - And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
(B.) Jeremiah 9:10 KJB - For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
(2.) The place (“Heaven of heavens”; Deu. 10:14; 1 Kin. 8:27; 2 Chr. 2:6, 6:18; Neh. 9:6; Psa. 115:16; Mat. 24:29 KJB) where the Sun, Moon and local “stars” (2 Kin. 23:5 KJB; “planets”, reflecting the light of the Sun) exist, the local solar system.
Genesis 1:14 KJB - And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Genesis 1:15 KJB - And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Genesis 1:16 KJB - And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Genesis 1:17 KJB - And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
(3.) The place (world) where God the Father exists.
(A.) 2 Corinthians 12:2 KJB - I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
2 Corinthians 12:4 KJB - How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
(B.) Revelation 2:7 KJB - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

- Is that where we go when we die?

No. A person who dies in the first death, returns to the dust of the ground, until their respective resurrection.

Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

- Do unbelievers go to hell instead?

Hell simply means the common 'grave', where mankind returns to dust, a place of darkness, covered.

QUESTION: WHAT DOES THE WORD “HELL” MEAN, OR WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF “HELL?”

The Bible’s use of the word “hell” (54 times, KJB), translated from Hebrew & koine Greek, in general mean “pit,” “grave,” or ‘place of outer darkness, or away from a source of light’:

[1] Hebrew “sheol” (H7585), “שׁאל / שׁאול” - (65 times)
[A.] (31 times, “hell”) - Deu. 32:22; 2 Sam. 22:6; Job 11:8, 26:6; Psa. 9:17, 16:10, 18:5, 55:15, 86:13, 116:3, 139:8; Pro. 5:5, 7:27, 9:18, 15:11,24, 23:14, 27:20; Isa. 5:14, 14:9, 28:15 (2),18, 57:9; Eze. 31:16-17 (2), 32:21,27; Jon. 2:2 (2); Hab. 2:5;
[B.] (30 times, “grave”) - Gen. 37:35, 42:38, 44:29,31; 1 Kin. 2:6 (2),9; Job 7:9, 21:13 (3), 24:19; Psa. 6:5, 30:3, 31:17, 49:14-15 (3), 88:3, 89:48; Pro. 1:12, 30:16; Ecc. 9:10; Son. 8:6; Isa. 14:11, 38:10,18; Eze. 31:15; Hos. 13:14 (2);
[C.] (3 times, “pit”) - Num. 16:30,33; Job 17:16;
[D.] (1 times, “grave’s”) - Psa. 141:7
[2] Greek “Hades” (G86), “ᾅδης” - (11 times)
[A.] (10 times, “hell”) - Mat. 11:23, 16:18; Luk. 10:15, 16:23; Act. 2:27,31; Rev. 1:18, 6:8, 20:13-14 (2);
[B.] (1 times, “grave”) - 1 Cor. 15:55
[3] Greek “Gehenna” (G1067), “γέεννα” - (12 times, “hell”) - Mat. 5:22, 29-30 (2), 10:28, 18:9, 23:15,33; Mar. 9:43,45,47; Jam. 3:5-6 (2)
[4] Greek “Tartaroo” (G5020), “ταρταρωσας” - (1 times, “hell”) - 2 Pet. 2:4, a place of “outer darkness” (see also Mat. 8:12, 22:13, 25:30). The fallen angels, were “cast out” (Rev. 12:9) of Heaven, where all is light and glory (Rev. 21:23, 22:5), into the darkness between worlds (Heb. 1:2, 11:3), what mankind modernly calls ‘outer space,’ before satan came to the just newly created earth (Eze. 28:16-17; Luk. 10:18; Jud. 1:6), seeking allies in his continuing rebellion.

The Bible’s parallelism in either Hebrew or koine Greek, or English (KJB), shows us that the word, “hell” simply means “pit,” “grave,” a place of covering, and no light.

2 Samuel 22:6 KJB - The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
Job 26:6 KJB - Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
Isaiah 14:15 KJB - Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Ezekiel 31:16 KJB - I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
Psalms 16:10 KJB - For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Psalms 18:5 KJB - The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
Psalms 30:3 KJB - O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalms 49:14 KJB - Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
Psalms 49:15 KJB - But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
Psalms 49:17 KJB - For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
Psalms 49:19 KJB - He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
Psalms 55:15 KJB - Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
Psalms 116:3 KJB - The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
Psalms 139:8 KJB - If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. (See “bed,” “grave,” Job 17:13 KJB.)
Proverbs 1:12 KJB - Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:
Proverbs 5:5 KJB - Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.
Proverbs 7:27 KJB - Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
Proverbs 9:18 KJB - But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell.
Proverbs 15:11 KJB - Hell and destruction are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
Proverbs 27:20 KJB - Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.
Isaiah 14:15 KJB - Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Isaiah 14:19 KJB - But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
Isaiah 28:15 KJB - Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
Isaiah 28:18 KJB - And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
Isaiah 38:18 KJB - For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
Ezekiel 31:16 KJB - I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.
Ezekiel 32:23 KJB - Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
Ezekiel 32:24 KJB - There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
Habakkuk 2:5 KJB - Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
Acts 2:27 KJB - Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (See Psa. 16:10 KJB.)
Acts 2:31 KJB - He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Through the whole Bible the various words translated into the English word “hell” are associated and paralleled with the English words “grave,” “pit,” “nether parts,” “corruption” (decay), “destruction,” “consume,” “death,” “the dead,” “bed,” “chambers of death,” “darkness,” “never see light,” “slain,” “hid,” “covered,” “under,” “down,” & “descend.” Other associated words are “soul” (being / person / life), “flesh,” “carcase” (dead body / corpse), opposing to “the land of the living” (thus the place of the dead, a location without life).

- Will there still be a heaven during the Millennium?

Depends on what you mean. The first heaven (atmosphere) gets burned up at the second advent.

Isa_34:4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
Jer_4:28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
2Pe_3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat ...
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Rev_6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

- Will there still be a heaven after the new heavens and earth are created?

Yes, the 3rd Heaven (aka, "paradise", Heavenly "Eden") always remains, since that is where the Father's throne is. The 2nd Heaven will also be there (Sun, Moon, "stars" (2 Kin. 23:5 KJB, local Sol system planets), and all the rest, when the New heaven (1st heaven, atmosphere of earth) is remade at the 3rd Advent, at the ending of the 1000 years to come - Revelation 20:1-15 & the 1,000 years (aka Millennium) Bible Study

Moreover, mankind will be able to travel to the other unfallen worlds as well.

The topic title indicates which heaven I was asking about.

Will you go to heaven when you die? - (or the other place)

Third Heaven (aka "Paradise", Heavenly "Eden", "Garden") is a physical place (that Jesus physically ascended to), that continues to exist, since it is where God the Father dwells, along with many unfallen beings, and during the Millennium, it is where all the saved saints will dwell with God, during that time (Rev. 20).

The third Heaven and Earth is speaking to the All in All period on earth when the Lord presents the Earth in its Numbers 14:21 glory.
