It is a lot isn’t it. My mother was just talking about this the other day...going back to her childhood and how she had an aunt who always wore skirts to her ankles...but when knee length skirts were introduced ...the aunt would tell the girls they were all tramps who would never amount to anything; based off the length of their skirts.
It is, I agree. The children technically weren't in violation of a new covenant teaching (not that that alone would exclude her from Heaven - we're all sinners in need of Jesus sacrifice to cover us). It might have been looked down upon, but not enough to exclude from Heaven.
One of the examples I listed was women wearing pant-suits in the business world. Even back to wearing mixed fabric clothes - I don't think I've ever worn clothes that weren't mixed, or at least never paid attention to it to not do it.
