@VictoryinJesus In a sense the lyricist is writing from a pilgrim vantage point of those who are on the hill brink of perceiving the immensely far reaching effects of the Incarnation. The musical use of pauses and syncopation only increases a sense of suspense and wonder. There is a sense of reverential restraint - perhaps enhanced by the minor key in the main theme, complemented by a series of triumphant crescendos.

Lauren Daigle's Light of the World is rather similar.

A bit of a testimony about my son.... he loved storms! He would pray for rain and God would send it. It became symbolic of his peace and joy in the midst of storms of life. And it has had a huge impact on me as well.

Thank you for posting this. I've never heard of the band but I really like this song. This is one I'd be interested in learning to play. It just seems so clear. I like your son's taste in music. Both words and instrumentation. I give it an A.
