@VictoryinJesus In a sense the lyricist is writing from a pilgrim vantage point of those who are on the hill brink of perceiving the immensely far reaching effects of the Incarnation. The musical use of pauses and syncopation only increases a sense of suspense and wonder. There is a sense of reverential restraint - perhaps enhanced by the minor key in the main theme, complemented by a series of triumphant crescendos.‘haunting’ caused a pause there. Never heard the word used in that way ‘poignant and evocative; difficult to ignore or forget.’ Yes, haunting.

Thank you for posting this. I've never heard of the band but I really like this song. This is one I'd be interested in learning to play. It just seems so clear. I like your son's taste in music.
