I keep reading post where Christians claim to be saved? The Bible says Jesus will return, destroy this system, and set up his thousand year rule. Within those thousand years, the Earth will become a Paradise, and the human family will become perfect humans.
At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be let lose, and in a perfect condition, the human family will be give a final test. Those who follow Satan will die with him, those who do not…will be saved, and live forever.
Since we are not in that thousand year rule of Jesus, and the thousand years has not ended, and nobody has been given the final test, how can some claim to already be saved? Did the train speed by so fast I did not even feel the woooooooooosh?
I know, your all going to be in Heaven the second you die, and Jesus thousand year rule is going to be over nobody, cause nobody will be left on Earth…boy is Jesus in for a shock. Maybe he will be asking the same question, “Did the train go by so fast I did not even feel the woooooooooosh?”
Since I’ll be standing on the same platform with him, I’ll tell him, “Well, you should have gone to their church. They would have told you…the train don’t stop at this station.”

When we say we are "saved" .... it means we have "obtained salvation" .... and it is a future tense.

Certainly we know we are still down here in the flesh right now

At the moment we entrusted our future to Jesus Christ .... we were sealed with the Holy Spirit which guarantees our (future) salvation

And if our future salvation is guaranteed ... then YES ... we can truly say we are "saved"

The 1000 year reign of Christ has nothing to do with salvation as we know it ..... unless we are alive during that period .

Mate, you make nooooo sense. Put the vino down for a while and your thoughts 'may' become clearer.

Rather it is more like the moment you decided to become grafted into the Family you were predestined. God knew your heart in that day as to whether you were serious in your commitment or not. Many people enter into the Faith for various different reasons including even peer pressure. Those whom God foreknows in that time are sealed with the Holy Spirit of the promise. However, there are many frauds and charlatans and likewise they also are employed in the body of Messiah, for the testing and trying of his people, and in his graciousness and kindness toward them not willing that any should perish, (for the earth and all its works belong to God). But although even the enemies of the Cross are shown favor in the interim they are indeed set toward a strong delusion, if they do not truly repent, because they received not the love of the truth that they might [truly] be saved. God will not be mocked. Anyone willing to believe that there is indeed a Creator and that man is a created being should understand that man is PROPERTY, (a vessel) whether for the good or for the bad.

Edit: Oh wait, you have me on ignore!
I guess you were predestined not to read this. :)

Well, mate, the bible says Jesus will rule for the 1,000 years, and at the end of it we are given a final test...are you one of those God has blinded to the truth. As to the vino, even Jesus made more when they ran out...maybe he should put his down too?

Actually the saints rule with Christ...there is no testing for those who have been made to rule with Christ. The testing is for the mortals born during the millennium.

We can walk in salvation right now through abiding in Christ. Otherwise we must endure to the end (of our lives) before we can claim any sort of lasting salvation.

I know this is not the topic of your thread but since "the vino" was brought up and you responded with John 2 have you ever noticed that when the Master performed that miracle he clearly mixed "the old" with "the new" (covenants) contrary to popular modern Christian teachings? There were six stone jars, (six is the number of man and stone is the yet unregenerated heart of the man) which were there for the specific purpose of the "purification rites of the Jews" which contained two or three measures or "firkins" apiece in them, (of wash water). Yet the two or three measures of wash water in each of the jars was clearly not emptied before the new water was added to fill them to the brims. And what does the "governor of the feast" or master of the ceremonies say when he had tasted thereof? "Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now."

Luke 5:37-39
37. And no man putteth new wine into old wine-skins; else the new wine will burst the skins and itself will be spilled, and the skins will perish.
38. But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins.
39. And no man having drunk old wine desireth new; for he saith, "The old is chrestos."

Just a stupid question, if all those saved rule with Jesus, and only those BORN during the 1,000 years...WHO ARE THEIR PARENTS?????????????????????????

For those of us who have been born of God, salvation is a past event - we have been justified from sin. Salvation is also a present process - we are being sanctified. And salvation is a future event - we will be glorified in our resurrection bodies.

So, even though we have been saved, salvation is still future. And even though salvation is still future, we have been saved. It just depends on which aspect of salvation you are talking about. If God has made you alive in Christ, then He will carry on the process to completion. Those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:13), because God knows how to keep those who are His (2 Peter 2:9, 2 Timothy 1:12, John 17:11, Jude 24).

He that believes on the Son has life eternal. (John 3:36)

Truly, truly, I say to you, that he that hears my word, and believes him that has sent me, has life eternal, and does not come into judgment, but is passed out of death into life. (John 5:24)

...not on the principle of works which have been done in righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit... (Titus 3:5)

And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has life: he that has not the Son of God has not life. These things have I written to you that you may know that you have eternal life who believe on the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:11-13)

Therefore having been justified on the principle of faith, we have peace towards God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)

If we have to wait until the judgment seat of Christ to know if we are saved, then these verses are lying to us.

From your Scripture quote and statement:

Truly, truly, I say to you, that he that hears my word, and believes him that has sent me, has life eternal, and does not come into judgment, but is passed out of death into life. (John 5:24).

It is good to see that you truly believe the One who sent Yeshua!
Which is to believe and faithfully honor all of Torah, Writings, and Prophets.
After all, we have the Royal Law and Law of Liberty on our side and therefore no fear of serving Him. :)

Amen! Absolutely truthful! The kingdom of God is not food or drink, but righteousness, peace and joy IN the Holy Spirit (Rom.14:17)..This same Holy Spirit has been given to us as a guarantee of our inheritance. (2Cor.5:5, Eph.1:14). I think that anyone who has this witness within will not dispute this above post. There is no future test, other than to remain in the same frame of mind that we had when we received the free gift of life.....faith and humility. Blessings, Howie

It used to be true, "All roads lead to Rome." It is not true that all roads lead to God. There is only one, and it is narrow. Assume there is a true religion. That would mean all the rest are false. So most who say they are Christian, are in a false religion. Yet you all say your religion is the true one. All you talk about is How You Are Saved. When you are not talking about, How You Are Saved, you are talking about your religion being the true religion...Why do you never talk about the Joy of serving our God? You are more concerned with what you will get from our God, when your whole concern should be, not what he will do for you, but what you are doing for him,
If our God told you face to face, "I will not give you life," would you still serve him with your whole heart, and love him with your whole heart?
Do you believe because you know the scriptures you are saved? Satan knows the scriptures better than you, and he is not saved. You shout "Holy, Holy," and pray, asking our God to save you...yet you are not doing the things he has commanded you do.
We are commanded to preach, "The Good News of the Kingdom from door to door." When is the last time you have done that? or is the first time yet to be?
You call those who do not agree with you names, and make the claim you are following in our Lord Jesus foot steps. Yes, you claim you are Christian. Those in Heaven are watching.

Then its on you to explain the past tense word "saved" in the NT. By your rationale, no one can ever declare to be saved until the Kingdom of God is fully established. There is a now and not yet to the NT understanding of salvation. Just as we are washed of sin though we still live in sinful bodies. Our faith anticipates the final consummation since our hope is in His work and not ours.

Just because a person does not talk of his joy, doesn't mean that he has no joy. You have accused others of what they are thinking, yet you are not a psychic who can read minds. There is a balance between what God HAS done (not will do) and what we do in return. We love Him because He first loved us. Our love for Him is a response. My question is..what are you responding to? A command? Is He merely your boss and commander, or is He your spiritual lover? By the words you speak I dare to say that I and others are serving Him from a different place than you do. You claim that you are more concerned about what you are doing for Him and not what He will do for you....Hogwash. What is your motive? Can you honestly tell me that the end prize that you serve Him for is not what He will do for you?
Your entire motive for obeying Him is not so that you can live forever? So are you serving Him or yourself? Do you knock on doors for your own survival?

Why is it that you do not speak of being in a relationship with Jesus? (Rev.3:20) My motive is that I want to know my God. (personal relationship) It seems to me that your perspective is having the right religion. Mine is having fellowship with my creator, King, Lord, Savior, and spiritual husband. Why should I reduce myself to a lesser level? Why should I drop the steak out of my mouth for a mere bone?

Just because people are not bragging about their works doesn't mean they do not have any works.

You want to play this game? Let's see if you can take what you are handing out! Please excuse my tough love.

If I accomplish anything good with this post it would not be to hurt you or anyone, but to persuade others to open the door. Jesus is knocking. (Rev.3:20,21)

You don't sound like a servant of the Living God...Lover, Steak eater. You seem to hold yourself in a very high position for one created to be the care taker of the garden.. I would take care, Our living God is not only a life giver, he is also a killer. Take care you do not become the steak for the dogs, and the birds.
