And if it
"AIN'T"
His will, for you to believe, then you don't have 'the
will to believe';
EPH 2:8* For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God --
JOH 1:13*
Which were born [again or
from above],
not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. [His will!].
And if YOU weren't "
DRAWS" "
CALLS" "PREDESTINED" "FOREORDAINED" BY GOD 'TO BELIEVE' by faith.....then you never had that opportunity 'to believe' in whatever age you lived in...past to present. But, thanks be to God this age we live in isn't the last age. There's still enough
"ages to come" Eph 2:7 to even deal with that 'supposed' unforgivable sin that the church of ROME taught all the Protestants to keep, and never got nailed on the church doors of Wittenburg in 1617. Luther never got it all right doctrinally, he just got it better than Rome had it.
JOH 6:44
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me
DRAWS him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
JOH 12:32 And I,
if I be lifted up from the earth,
will draw all [men] unto me. [some, will be in the "
ages TO COME".]
JOH 17:2 As thou hast
given him power over ALL flesh, that he should give eternal life TO AS MANY AS THOU HAST GIVEN HIM.
ACT 11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath
GOD also to the Gentiles GRANTED REPENTANCE unto life.
ACT 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord:
and as many as were ORDAINED to eternal life believed.
ROM 8:29 For those
whom he foreknew he also PREDESTINED to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren. 30* And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified;
EPH 1:5 Having
predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
And "
in the AGES TO COME" Eph 2:7 the same saving Grace and gift of faith, that was GIVEN to you in verse 2:8, will be given to those to whom it wasn't given before. IMO...and the BIBLE.
