There are 3 tenses to salvation. 1. We have been saved from the PENALTY of sin (justification) 2. We are being saved from the POWER of sin (ongoing sanctification) 3. We will be saved from the PRESENCE of sin (glorification)Good News!
The kingdom is available Now for anyone who puts their trust in Jesus.
That means you do not have to wait until you die.
Osas thinking leaves out sanctification...because many believe Justification is all of Salvation....
It's like saying you can be a Christian without being a disciple.
How does that leave out sanctification? NOSAS thinking has been known to lead to "type 2 works salvation" -- initially saved by faith (justification) then keep yourself saved based on your performance/works (sanctification) yet from beginning "have been saved through faith" (Ephesians 2:8) to end "receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:9) salvation is through faith and is not by works.
