I'm treating you with the maturity I think you deserve
Yes, that's what Jesus would do. The Golden Rule. Love your trolls. Pray for them that despitefully troll you. Or just treat them with the maturity you think they deserve. The choice is yours. How does it feel to get some of your own medicine?

Now may I ask, Was there a law given that could give life?
No, because there is no law that fallen man can keep. The righteousness of the law is completely contrary to the nature of man. The problem was with man, not with the law. Christ proved that by the simple fact that he is a man who kept the law.

What does scriptures say why Israel did not attain to righteousness with regards the keeping of the law?
What then will we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; but Israel, who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it. Why not? Because their pursuit was not by faith, but as if it were by works. Romans 9:30-32
That's what you're looking for, right?

By the way, I'm not mocking Behold. I'm simply acknowledging that he is well nigh insufferable, as so many others have. He's one of the truly my-way-or-the-highway folks on here. Most people have him on -ignore-. Call it mocking if you like. You cannot be reasoned with, anyway. That's not mocking either. Merely an observation. Just doing some non-communicating to amuse you.

What about the Law of Faith?

I consider not only 1 John 2:19-24. We all should do that.

So let us rightly divide the word.
If you really are doing that then you can see that Jesus was talking about a particular group of people, as was John, not establishing a sweeping and absolute truth about every single person who does not put into practice what Jesus teaches.
Let’s trust one another. When you say you consider 1 John 2:19-24, I trust you did. So, perhaps you could do the same when I say I did. The point is, even while we say we do that and tell one another to do that, we apparently have a different reading of scriptures. That’s why we have discussions such as this.

Jesus was talking about a particular group of people in Mt.7:22-23. That is not our issue. We agree on that. Our issue is who these group of people are. I disagree with you, when you seem to tell me that they are people who have a relationship with Jesus though not an intimate one. And disagree more when you seem to include the babes in Christ to the said group of people to whom Jesus will say “I never knew you”, “depart from Me”, “you who practice lawlessness”.

And while you make a lot of points, like an unbeliever can prophesy in the name of Jesus, or what, and that Jesus did not make a sweeping and absolute truth about every single person who does not put into practice what He teaches, such were just not the issues. And you just keep repeating them over and over, and not really addressing the issue at hand.

I notice you quoting the gospel in this thread and you just cant write unless you believed in vain you still still have to crop that part out. tsk tsk
How does believing in vain change the fact that you have to hold firmly to the word of the gospel to be saved?

Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, and in which you stand firm. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:1-2
If a person has believed in vain (meaning Christ has not really risen from the dead), does that somehow change the fact that you have to hold firmly to the word to be saved? No, of course not. In fact, it actually illustrates the truth of that statement. You can't abandon the real gospel by which you were saved and adopt a different gospel, as the Corinthians were doing, and still be saved. Paul says you have to stick to the original true gospel by which you were saved to be saved. But the new Osas says that is not true. It says you are always saved, no matter what. Even if you switch over to a different gospel after getting saved. As we can see, that's not what Paul says.

Yes, it most definitely is worth knowing, so what did you trust to receive this forgiveness of sin?
When does being Saved from eternity in Hell begin?

“ Nobody comes to God lest the Spirit draw him”..... God makes the first move.....Anybody can hear the Gospel and it is “Foolishness to those that Perish”.....like “ Lydia, the Seller Of purple” whose story is told in Acts—— God “ opened her heart “ so that she could go beyond just hearing the Gospel —— she Believed it.....

The starting point of Salvation is the Conviction Of Sin Given to blessed people by the Holy Spirit so that see they are sinners that need a Savior.....when one actually sees his Wretchedness before a Holy God and sees that He is helpless and hopeless and truly DESERViNG Of Hell —— THAT becomes the impetus to “ Turn to God ( saving repentance) with Faith in Jesus Christ .....like the Publican in Jesus story , all you have to do is cry out, ( with a Contrite Heart Given to you by the Holy Spirit) , “Lord Jesus, have Mercy on me , a Sinner....”

That prayer, said sincerely ,will get the job done.It will get you “ Justified”, as Jesus said......you are “ fit for Heaven” now.....Remember That it was God that started it all when He gifted you with a visit from the Holy Spirit That Convicted you Of Sin and gave you the same “ Contrite Heart” That the Publican had and had you “ Turn to God” ( Repentance) ...God gave the world a Promise That He will never break....” Turn to Me and I will turn to you”..... it’s that simple ....it worked for me...

It is not for me, not because I am osas or nosas or whatever term people use, but because it simply is not.

Okay, whatever, lol. There's just some things that aren't open to debate. This is one of them. But you are certainly free to think Luke 13:24-27 is not a parallel passage to Matthew 7:21-23 if you personally want to do that.

Almost. I'm saying Jesus could be referring to people who had a relationship with Him at one time, just not ever an intimate knowing relationship, but who clearly don't have any relationship with him now, having fallen away into lawlessness, and so they will be condemned when He returns.

I'm saying if Jesus is talking about people who he never knew intimately he would be talking about immature babes in Christ who did not have an intimate relationship with Him and fell away into lawlessness as a result. I say that because the Parable of the Sower says it is the immature believer that does not retain the word of God in them and does not bring it to fruition in perseverance. In that parable, perseverance in the word in salvation is an attribute of mature, obedient, fruit bearing believers, not every single believer as Osas teaching says.

OSAS judge! lol

OSAS is total nonsense!

John 15:6 (NKJV)
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Do you think Jesus promoted “ Nonsense?”.....He was the First to Teach and Preach OSAS .....how nice it is to be on God’s Side..” All Those That Believe In Me ALREADY HAVE Eternal Life , and they can NEVER come under Condemnation”

One single verse From Jesus blasts ALL of you Confused , ignorant NOSAS adherents to smithereens....
Not one of you weak, bottle- fed milk drinkers ever address this verse....and for very good reason....you CANT......unless you can’t understand Plain English....

Notice the promise is to those who believe in him, not to those who don't. Unbelievers, whether they never believed or stopped believing, do not inherit the promises of God. The promises of God are addressed to believing people. Even the original Osas believed that much! You'd be better off just going back to the original teachings of Osas. Even it understood that you had to keep believing in order to be saved.....

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. 1 Corinthians 15:2
