I never claim to have perfect doctrine. I allow my beliefs to be adjusted by the Bible accordingly if they're out of sync so the doctrines i believe can be perfect.
While we are at it, I also asked…”Could you mention a few of those 'lies' that touch on justification?”

i don't have to provide an argument in support of denominations because i'm not the one arguing that the Bible supports it. You are. Let's get that straightened out first.

You are a completely illogical man! The Bible does not say there is one denomination that is correct either. Your position is based on Appeal to Ignorance; there is no evidence to support your position, so it should be accepted by default?!

Secondly, the passage you provided as an "argument" doesn't even portray the person the disciples were referring to as being the lead member of a movement that was using Christ's name.

Why does that "matter?" 1 Corinthians 11:3 informs us Christ is the head of man. That is, it is Christ who leads men. There really is no need for men to lead other men other than for convenience, economies of scale, division of labor, etc.

Furthermore, the disciples' issue was that they believed that individual had to be part of their group and be given the same authority/approval that they received from Christ in order to cast out demons.

Which Christ totally rebuked the ignorant disciples thought on the subject. I already provided the Scripture. I guess it means nothing to you.

Christ said absolutely nothing that even remotely suggests that He approved of denominations in that passage.

You cannot be serious!!

John (to Jesus): 38 Master, we saw another man casting out unclean spirits in Your name, but he was not one of our group. So we told him to stop what he was doing.

Jesus: 39 You shouldn’t have said that. Anyone using My name to do a miracle cannot turn quickly to speak evil of Me. 40 Anyone who isn’t against us is for us. 41 The truth of the matter is this: anyone who gives you a cup of cool water to drink because you carry the name of your Anointed One will be rewarded.

Mark 9:38-41 (VOICE)

"Anyone who isn’t against us is for us" IS explicitly approving of the only known denomination at the time. Jesus did not speak only about that specific Spirit led person but generally for "Anyone" who does the same. I can hardly imagine a stronger endorsement of denomination than that - current and future.

I'm also not surprised at the self righteousness that is on display when you assume i'm "blind to the corruption of the Catholic Church" and that you're not.

Always on the attack and never on defense. My self-righteousness cannot hold a candle to the Catholics usurping Christ's authority on Earth.

Who feeds the lambs?
JESUS DOES . LET THE KING BE PRAISED .
And men who truly follow HIM are who feed the flocks .
THE RCC does no such thing . But neither do most all within the protestant realm .
WE IS IN A FALLING AWAY , which shall only get worse .
TRUST IN THE BIBLICAL JESUS . DO IT MY FRIEND . Before all is too late .

ALL do suckle from the teets , the paps of the whore . ITS getting bad my friend .
Let all return to the biblical JESUS . DO IT FAST and do not look back , for the delusion shall overtake all who do look back .
COME ye out of her , one and all , come ye out is my plea and my call .

Not what Jesus says
Jn21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

And you are construing this to mean that Peter, and only Peter, can feed Jesus' lambs? Woah!

Let go of the RCC my friend . Also , slow down , take a step back and go reread what i said .
MEN who teach TRUTH through the Spirit , through Christ . RCC does no such thing . I shunned it long ago .
You should too . Just pick up the bible and start feasting .

Where does the Bible say it must be in the Bible? Acts 2:42 teaching of the apostles is the source of truth Lk 10:16

If you are speaking to me, I did not mention the Bible alone as the source:

"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." Acts 2:42

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26

We all need to know and remember that without protestantism we would not know any scripture, be able to read any scripture, or have any scripture.
The Catholic church used to burn people to death for teaching even the 10 commandments to their children.

So it is no small irony that @theefaith quotes the Bible in this thread! In English! There was a time when he would be killed by Catholics for doing so
Hi post,

I love history and have never heard that the Catholic Church used to burn people for teaching the 10 commandments. Where did you learn this?

Heretics are not required to tell the truth! Anything to get people saved! The end justifies the means Jn 8:32 does not apply to them

Please fill in the blanks regarding your statement so we know clearly what you are saying:
Who are heretics?
What is the truth and what is it not?
What is salvation? Can anyone get someone else saved?
Who are those represented by the pronoun, "them" in this sentence?

The end justifies the means Jn 8:32 does not apply to them
