I don't think the Holy Spirit is going to tell you that our Bibles are wrong. That sounds like another spirit. Not opinions, but interpretations by the Holy Spirit! Without the Holy Spirit interpreting who is able to understand what is in the Bible?
Your reply makes it appear to me that you misunderstood what I wrote.I don't think the Holy Spirit is going to tell you that our Bibles are wrong. That sounds like another spirit.
Clearly, your purpose here is to pigeonhole believers so you can easily collect fodder to fire at them. Not interested, thank you.Referring to Lazarus' body maybe? Not perfectly clear at all!
VAGUE at best.
Their bodies.
Still waiting. Are you SDA? JW? Unitarian?
No Scripture? Of course not. I have plenty!Clearly, your purpose here is to pigeonhole believers so you can easily collect fodder to fire at them. Not interested, thank you.
There are no denominations in the NT. Just Christian!By the way, what are you? lol
I hope so.Your reply makes it appear to me that you misunderstood what I wrote.
I'm not going to cast pearls so you can slice and dice them.No Scripture? Of course not. I have plenty!
So you're anti-denominational. Got it.There are no denominations in the NT. Just Christian!
Correctly predictedReferring to Lazarus' body maybe? Not perfectly clear at all!
VAGUE at best.
Their bodies.
OT never overrules the NT? Are you saying in other words that the OT, when perfectly clear, cannot be trusted because you think the NT overrules the old? That the OT wasn't as inspired as the NT? That the OT and the NT contradict each other?OT maybe? OT never overrules perfectly clear NT. Lay some perfectly clear NT on us!
Calling me swine proves?I'm not going to cast pearls so you can slice and dice them.
Please don't resort to lying.So you're anti-denominational. Got it.
Of course the NT always overrules OT, for Christians. Are you Jewish?OT never overrules the NT? Are you saying in other words that the OT, when perfectly clear, cannot be trusted because you think the NT overrules the old? That the OT wasn't as inspired as the NT? That the OT and the NT contradict each other?
Alas, the FEAR of God and the wrath of God are two main Bible doctrines. To ignore that can bring disaster on an unbeliever in them. God said those who don't fear Him are fools.@kcnalp please my friend, don't fear that we would determine nasty things against you, disassociate ourselves from you, speak words that would offend or invite others to malign or bring prejudiced charges against you, just because we believe eternal torment is heresy. Far from it. We love Jesus to, so you have nothing to fear from us. But we don't take our stance on this subject without thoughtful Bible study, prayer, and a love for truth and earnest desire to uphold God's character in the midst of a world that despises Him, and sad to say, the world does so because we'll meaning Christians such as yourself portray to the world a God they cannot accept. A despotic cruel vengeful torturer which if human, would be cast out as the execration of humanity. "This is the merciful, loving God of the Christians?" "We refuse to worship such a beast ". And who can blame them?
How do we reconcile that god, with the God Who walked the dusty roads of Palestine healing all who asked? How do we reconcile that god, with the One Who gave His life a ransom for many? How do we reconcile that god with the One Who risked eternal separation from His Father, because of the intense burden of sin that was laid upon Him, but went ahead with the plan anyway because He knew your salvation was at stake? How do we encourage unbelievers to accept such a god who in vengeful retribution will burn them forever if they don't believe? If course they don't believe! I don't believe in that god either!
But I do believe in Jesus. I love Him to bits, because I know Him to be merciful and just and fair in all His dealings with mankind, He has warned time and time again that we can trust Him, but if we go our own way and refuse His love and offer of salvation, we will eventually die. And we will stay dead. Forever.
KJV Ezekiel 18:32
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
I see. You can intimate but I can't.Calling me swine proves?
Please don't resort to lying.
You implied that I'm swine and then you lied.I see. You can intimate but I can't.
I just used a phrase from a Bible verse. And lying is a deliberate perpetration of a falsehood. I didn't do that. Not everything that is stated incorrectly is a lie. You implied that denominations are not proper by saying there were none in the early church. If you want to pretend you're taking the high ground, go ahead. Or, you could get a grip and lighten up.You implied that I'm swine and then you lied.
This is really good stuff. :)@kcnalp please my friend, don't fear that we would determine nasty things against you, disassociate ourselves from you, speak words that would offend or invite others to malign or bring prejudiced charges against you, just because we believe eternal torment is heresy.
